Gileenim. A city of ruins. Fallen bricks, rubble and the detritus of those who live there and call it home. Despite this it has never ceased to feel alive and vibrant. Except this year; as the year has marched on, so has the City seemed to falter and wane. The Hanot had warned that something was wrong - the Kallah had fled, or left, or been taken away. And in their absence the City started to die.

As the Pestilent and Deathly seasons approached the autumnal fog had been coming in thick and fast on Gileenim. Some whispered that the fog was not truly fog but a symptom of the deeper malady afflicting the City.

And yet over the past month or so the City of Gileenim has slowly started to feel more like a City again. The Kallah have started to slowly come back, though they look haunted and traumatised and refuse to speak of where they have been. Despite the renewed presence of the Kallah, those that seek audience with the Kallah Lord are turned away - he, it seems, has not returned and a look of terror passes over the Kallah when asked about him.

The fogs abruptly started to clear one morning in early Deeber. It seems that whatever malady afflicted the City has been healed - those seeking answers are told of an area of the City where the fogs never touched. Those that live there say that the City was defended by "The World Unbound" who held Gileenim to Primus until one of their order, Father Savage, could muster his allies to save them all.

As evening fell on the day the fogs cleared a group, bearing the Banner Resolution, met at the centre of Gileenim, where the fogs that had taken the City were thickest. There, they were seen protecting powerful members of the Nobility in the placing of ritual anchors. As the mists retreated from the anchors a brazen dome surrounded them and sounds of battle were heard coming from within. Shortly after the dome cleared, a ritual was set and performed by a lone, hooded, man. As the rite dispersed and the group left the City's Kallah started to gather around the candles that had been left with a new light in their eyes.

As the Dawn approaches the Kallah are starting to speak excitedly amongst themselves - there is a tension in the air, a building presence. Something waiting to be. Candles are lit and left around the City. No symbols or religion are mentioned but it is clear to those who pass what they are: small shrines, tokens of thanks, built on broken masonry.
