Following on from yesterday's Port Meire themeday, Julian has agreed to ref a dungeon to go deal with the spiters forces at Curn's Grasp, a place of importance for the church.
Probably looking at around a 4k ish dungeon, and will probably end up as a Gerehand & William plus friends day out, but anyone else free with a Forge related character are welcome. Current dates are either the 9th or 10th of October, as both me and Julian free those days. Any preference from others? BBB and Wimble mainly -------------------- Rich

Its a bit of a long shot but as Croch my LOTS Twarf Priest I could potentially be interested in a guest slot if they were available . Will have done the 3 day by then so will hopefully be 3800 or so but count as higher coz of blueness. Its quite an IC thing for Croch to do as a Twarf / Former Craftenguilder/miner etc etc . So if a Dismissal priest with total , res and dismiss 8 would assist then please consider it.

Yeah Croch would definately be welcome, will be aimed at those with characters with a smithing type theme, then adding invites to others to fill in the gaps that we are missing in classes.

I'd be happy to come along as my wizard. Not much to do with forging, but we did a three day together and i'd fill the wizard gap! :-) Carlo |

October's a pretty bad time for me but that weekend is probably the best.

Looks like you are volunteering to get some guild benefits and becoming the high priest steve You'd need at least 6 guild members on the dungeon for that Julian -------------------- Embrace your inner munchkin

Saturday it is then. Will email Jo now to get it booked.
Would need 7 priests to make it a church with benefits, which i think we would struggle with. Suppose if there was interest could start a "Smithing" guild but think we wouldn't have many members, people would there knights/frontline benefits! -------------------- Rich

Vauguely amused by the idea of a Metal Detectorists side line , given the geeky nature (like we can talk) , it can always be a guild you dont battle board but are a member of. But just generally quite like the idea of a dungeon and the Port Meire thing is interesting . So quite a lot of hooks for various characters ( although would have to opt out if there was an undead creator/summoner on the party)

Well the chuirch exists, its been in print for a few years it was started by a points request so people could start playing. We do need to get more memebrs to get a full guild special, need to pester warren to play and try to get some more people involved. Steve |

I'd possibly be interested as my Ggrutuck, if you can stomach more warding priests...
Definite interest in smithing and similar although for obvious reasons cannot join any guilds - might try to get something whereby I can join but not benefit from guilds to help if needed. Chris |

It would make IC sense that you gather rare ores and guild secrets on forging, have blessed anvils and supernatural forge fires etc. Ready supply of guild special plots to go get this or that rare ingredient or similar. Rarely battleboarded, but often used at the desk? Julian -------------------- Embrace your inner munchkin

Could i come
I would be playing Gere Jnr Hopefully a mantic brown wizard / grey Knight with full Blacksmithing skills (as per warrior) Currently have no patron for my grey knight side of things but ''THE FORGE'' would be a possibility I would be just over 3k. (For those that do not know Gere Jnr is hopefully my avatar of Gere 10k Dwarven Warrior) Sunday would be better as i should be monstering saturday but can make both if it is booked on saturday. Like your thinking Julian... If there are enough people that would be interested in a "smithing" guild linked to the church of the forge then happy to make it a guild start up.
Gere Jnr would be welcome Looking at the booking have decided to switch the dungeon to Sunday the 10th October as not to clash with Stuart Maggs's footnotes campaign. -------------------- Rich
