Malcolm
As the only remaining candidate what are your thoughts on the situation of Labyrinthinia remaining as Primus? If it does all other planes will slowly die off, including Legend, and countless people will die. If it doesn't mercenaries on Labyrinthinia will become fewer and our plane will become weaker. We will slowly go into decline, the powers of gods and dragons here will reduce, and doubtlessly people may die. What side would you have us take? Kail |

Kail Despite my involvement, and interest in this question, I must firstly correct one point. Fred has not officially answered and withdrawn. And Gimly and Ash certainly have not. Otherwise, I will not say anything else at this time. Sirac Drakeson, Voice of the Knights |

Thanks Kail…. I’ve only just recovered from Salvas.
In very short, I’m going to have to think on this. I’ll be honest, this isn’t my area of knowledge. I trust each person is doing what they think is best, I’ll delay a proper answer but it is one I am questioning. Until then, let’s remain calm. What ever is going to happen, it’s not Going to happen tomorrow. Malcolm -------------------- Lord Knight problems... Contact Stacey. I'm free!

If it does all other planes will slowly die off, including Legend, and countless people will die. I think it is worth saying that this is only conjecture and theory. It is impossible to be absolutely certain that this is true or even that it will happen. Yet it appears to be being taken as gospel. I am not comfortable with it being treated as such. It is blinkered and it blinds us to options. Nobody truly knows what happened in the 1st Age. You only need to look back over the last 20 years to see countless different theories and events which happened which don't align with one another. It may be that it is true. It may be that it is likely. What is certain is that there are a myriad of possible solutions, many of which nobody could possibly perceive today. With, at worst, a thousand year time frame, it is impossible to know what might be viable. The last thousand years, hell, the last twenty are evidence enough of that. Nexus |

That's not the point of the question though. It's a scenario I'm using that is in discussion rather than a hyperthetical one.
It may not turn out to be true, it may. The question and how it would be treated is the thing of interest. Kail |

In that context, I’m not one for guessing.
As I have said, this isn’t my area There are more knowledgeable knights on this I would seek as much knowledge before Making a ruling. But all in all. We stand to defending those who can’t defend themselves. I really don’t like what if things. Malcolm -------------------- Lord Knight problems... Contact Stacey. I'm free!

Sirac Drakeson, Voice of the Knights As Sirac says, I am still standing I have answered the joke question from Willock in case that is causing any confusion. Although I feel only fair to say while I am here that I think Malcolm has been doing an excellent job replying to questions, dealing with the issues on Salvas and making plans for the future. Continuing my tradition of not voting for myself, he has received my vote to be Lord Knight for the coming year. Gimly -------------------- Rich

Indeed, Tristan did a great job of arranging a missive to begin restoring the reputation of the Knights and trying to undo some of the damage done to Salvas. Lord Tristan did us proud and inspired many of us to do better. It was truly an honour to be part of it.

Kiwi Just in case there was some confusion, my missive was meant Malcolm was there dealing with the issues on Salvas on the day, not to detract anything from Tristan. The plans for the future was a more general comment, as I know he has been looking at threats knights of various skills and experience could deal with across a wide range of areas. Malcolm,
You do not need to answer, but the position of Lord Unity has a level of power that can cause serious disruption within the Knights. Who would you appoint Lord Unity? Isaac |

As of this moment, I would offer Ritz or Gimly that role. Ritz, we are close friends and have travelled often together. He compliments me well, he knows my strengths but more importantly my weakness. Gimly, because he is a veteran Knight, everyone knows him and respects him. Even know he has hung up his sword, he is wise to the way of the world and his experience speaks for itself.
