I have a darkness bassed wizard/elf charcter.
I was wondering if anyone had any ways to make it less tedious.
What other uses do people have for there darkness stuff.

Personal Darkness -only 3 feet around me so can still fight in a line or without affecting those around me, if you are in melee with me you count as being in darkness.

Do you mean less tedious to use for monsters or generally other things to do with innate darknesses?

Traditional Dark Elf ones are casting and absorbing darknesses for healing.

Sacrificing an Innate Darkness to get X Mana off a Black Spell when cast.

Gordon has already mentioned the "Person Darkness" style combat stuff.

So I have a bunch of darkness innates and I want to be less tedious for monsters.
I have passed can eat darkness for healing. I was just wondering if anyone had any other fun ideas.

Shadow - may choose when a darkness is cast if a full darkness. If in an area of shadow unless can see through darkness, spell length is now 3ft.

May use a darkness innate at the same time as casting a spell that requires a target to be in darkness, target counts as being in darkness even if they're not.

May use a number of darkness innates up to (half?) a sprite's level to dispel a sprite

I'm sure I had others, will look out some points apps.

just made this up off the top of my head, so just starter ideas perhaps!

Master of the Dark;

I can manipulate darkness spells to perform the following;

1. Enveloping darkness, upon self if you cant see through darkness your at -1 base damage vs me for 30 secs.
2. Upon a foe entering your darkness it is consumed by them, they wont attack you unless there immune fear, if immune fear they will attack you last out of their visual enemies unless imm emotional attacks. lasts 30 secs?
3. Cast your darkness into your bracers to grant fap or if you have fap it grants parry pure magic (all bar white/light).
4. If you haven't got see thru and imm fear - you cant enter my darkness - lasts 30 secs.

All 1 per 15 mins.

Refuge in Shadows: If you cast darkness immediately before you meditate it lasts until you stop meditating.

Empowered shadows: When you cast darkness it can hang as a thick magical haze that does not block all sight, you may choose to make it block only mana and elemental sight, but not physical.

Diffused shadow: When you cast darkness you may instead cause it the edges between objects and shadows in the vicinity to bleed into each other instead of its usual effect. This causes anyone phasing in from a shadow shift to be invisible as per chameleon while they phase in, but phasing in takes a full 10 seconds.

Stillness of night: In the darkness, a small sound rings out as clear as a bell. Anyone who spends a full minute in one of your darknesses who cannot see gains acute hearing until they leave the darkness.

Tranquil Night: The very heartbeat of Primus slumbers when you call the night. Any monster who dies in one of your darknesses should spend at least an extra 30 seconds before they respawn as something else.
