Yeah I have to second this!
Incredible dungeon story line, well written and good statting! Except from rogue Greenaway A huge thanks to Ed and Benson for their efforts over the weekend. A massive thankyou to the monsters for continually smashing us to pieces! And of course a big thankyou to the party for being awesome to spend 3-days with, and for looking after me when I got incredibly 'merry'... again... See you all soon! Also want to give a massive MASSUV thank you to Benson, Ed and the huge horde of monsters! Absolutely fantastic weekend with some fabulous plot and interesting stories which kept us hooked the whole way through. The vast amount of effort that had gone into it was obvious, what a superb event to kick off my very first extended length from a player perspective!
Party, you guys are all stars! Want to give an extra shout out to Fi for ressing me upwards of five times, I'm sure you were probably pretty bored of that verbal in the end! I appreciate that being so under points meant I was a little bit* squishy and want to thank the party in general for mostly keeping me out of trouble, even if in the end you couldn't save me from my lack of get-outs and sleepy unawareness ;-) Totally brilliant weekend and what an excellent send off to Callum as he heads off to University, Thanks everyone Flo x *Very -------------------- "That is not dead which can eternal lie and with strange aeons even death may die." - H.P Lovecraft

Yes, MASSIVE thanks to Benson and Edd for a massive involved and terrifying event. And a huge thanks to the unbelievably brilliant crew - I really have no idea how you kept up that level of energy and enthusiasm for the entire weekend.
And obviously thanks to the party - by turns hilarious, horrendous, chaotic, unified and always a great vibe from everyone. Wicked times. Thanks all! JC |

Huge thanks as well from me for a very fun and tough event from Rob and Ed. Can tell the huge amounts of time and effort that they had both put in to making it a great weekend. The story book was awesome, the bell tent and various bits set inside that over the weekend was very cool.
Our monster team were fantastic, lots of cool fights and decent roleplay. Amount of effort in to costume changes, make up etc was much appreciated and help make the event so brilliant. Our some what ridiculously tough party were also a lot of fun to be around, with no real stress or drama. Nice that everyone pretty much got on and that we all looked out for each other most of the time! Lot of fun fighting alongside and drinking with you all. -------------------- Rich

Needs to start with Benson and Ed - guys the propping was exceptional and the story and set pieces were fantastic, great event to play a scout / comms character on especially the various parts from the bell tent which really added something to a site I have played at a lot. The event was full of involved plot, comedy moments and pure brutality everything I love about this game.
The crew were fantastic over the event keen to beat us and roleplay with us in equal measure - a crew like the one we had really helps make a great event so thanks for all of your efforts guys. Really good party mix - everyone chilled and in high spirits, nice to see a party full of doers cracking on with masses of dungeon regardless of stress or fatigue. I had a really great time - very sleepy today though... Edit; how could I forget Fromum for keeping the army marching! Thanks as always!! |

Massive thanks from me too for a great event. Huge thanks to Rob and Ed for a fantastic 3 day - loads of effort, so much fun - great plot and props with loads of variety, enjoyed every minute. Likewise, huge thanks to the vast horde of monsters - to the stalwarts and to all the drive bys - you were all a pleasure to fight and role play with. Likewise thanks to a great no stress party who were great fun to hang around with.
I really enjoyed the huge variety of sections - so much to do - so thank you also to anyone who contributed and lastly thanks to Rich for sorting/cooking food etc. Many, many thanks to everyone Giles. |

Thanks from me also. Clearly loads of cool propping effort - the book and various tent sections were awesome. Having the tent added a really nice extra set piece in a site which can be a bit bland/samey, which was ace. The party were a pleasure and fun to be around and the horde of monsters really made things fun and dangerous. Thanks to Rob and Ed for their huge amounts of time and effort. A fun and entertaining event which I had a great time on.

Top event - thank you so much to Rob & Ed
Fantastic props, great story, horde of cool monsters, innovative encounter ideas - it was really obvious a ton of work went into this and it paid off to make a really fun event. Cheers as well to Fromum for food and organisation! Julian -------------------- Embrace your inner munchkin

And it's thanks from me as well.
Really good fun all weekend, so much written for us to do that we spent 80% of the time as two parties , that is a testament to the amount of work that had gone into preparation. And thanks to the monster horde who allowed us to basically be constantly doing something. And finally Tem-Bo-La.. |

Hi all,
Thanks for all your kind replies, considering our lack of "ref" extended lengths experience I was massively anxious before hand, personally I took loads away from the event, constructive faults etc. Just wanted to express my thanks to all involved; 1. Edd: excellent co.ref, reliable, enthusiastic, superb prop maker (couldn't of done it with out you!) 2. People that I bribed helping me with writing some of the stories including; Lee Dale, Sean Cook & Pete Long. 3. The monster crew which included; Stacey, Greenaway, Rebecca, Ajay, R.Grinter, Sam, Brodders, Isteed, Laura, Mr Bennet, Lizy & Neil W (don't think I left anyone out?) 4. Fromum - for sorting food whilst playing... (legend). 5. Mr Grinter doing the Fish&Chip run... apparently the shop hated him! (Greenaway forgot to ring in advance)... And lastly to the players who were all very cool, patient and took any Benson c**k ups in good humour! Thanks all! Rob. P.S: Never again! ;0) |
