Greetings Brothers and Sisters,

I scribe this message with a heavy heart, however I have given this a lot of thought and I need to say something on the matter. I am not going to beat around the bush as this is something that I hold quite dear to my heart.

It is my opinion that Castiel, our Lord Unity, cannot stay true to vows.

From my travels with him as Lord Knight and the mission we undertook recently I have had long enough to understand the kind of person that he is. I have heard his words and seen his actions, and I do not believe that they are fitting of a Knight of the Land. I was hoping that under Lord Amorphus's leadership, (which I am not bringing into disrepute here), this would change, unfortunately it has not.

Castiel is an Angel of St Micheal, by his very nature and his devotion to his faith he will always hold his religion above our Vows. He has made it very clear that this is the case. His complete devotion to Micheal means that he has an uncompromising outlook towards certain people or races.

I am aware that a group of Knights will be going to reclaim the Arc of Fire in Legend, with I believe the intentions of Castiel becoming the Lord of the Arc of Fire. I give warning that I do not think this is a safe plan. Castiel has made it clear that he will kill all demons regardless, unless his Lord Micheal would not command it. He walks that line of goodly devotion which can easily be mistaken for true evil as he feels no need to feel remorse for his actions, his first response is to murder any that he perceives to be against his view point. His words of "I do the evil that needs to be done, so that you dont have to" and the actions he backs this up with are not those of a Knight of the land. The fact that he was able to get an Angel of Shaehan to attack him by his own actions speaks for itself.

If it were possible I would hope that a different person would be able to take on the mantle of the Arc of Fire.

When other Knights are discovered for doing similar acts we would stand against them. Just because someone is a creature of good does not mean that they should have different rules.

If Castiel could change his behaviour then I would be more than happy to continue to call him a brother Knight, However until he agrees to do so, I do not see how he can remain within our Order.

Lord Amorphus I ask you to take some action from my words. I will respect your outcome regardless of what your decision is.

I never thought I would get killed by a touch of death cast instantly, thrown at range and bound with magic on such an easy hire. Well it tirns out that happened once. Well that is until you one upped that and did it to everyone in the barony. I didn't think it would happen once, it happened twice... it ain't easy surviving a ToD form Cheesy.

I'm back once again with the weekly updates, D4 Damager power to the people.


15th July - Sunday - is suffering from a shortage of monsters across all 3 of the dungeons that are currently up on the bookings page. The St Michal and The Earthern Conclave are on the cusp of extinction, they are trying so hard to survive long enough for something to change. And lastly we have a closed campaign run by awesome people for awesome people!

St Michal - max 10K - the fabulous Will Power is the ref who currently has 6 players and no monsters to fill his dungeon with! This dungeon has been organised by Mr Fantastic himself, I dont know if he is playing or not, but given all he has done to improve the club it would be a shame if they had a dungeon with no monsters in. Although that would make for easy points... But if it were not for the fact that there is a slightly small sporting final on this day, I would be there monstering it for him. I however will be in the carpark pub.

The Earthern Conclave - max 15k - At the moment this dungeon looks like its going to be a 3 way tag team TLC match. With the tables we have Lee and Fi, with the ladders we have the Andy Washington and probably a Mungo, and the chairs with have a mystery tag team. Who will win? Will it be the refs? (Lee and Fi) or will it be one of the player teams? This has the chance of turning into a right royal rumble with spaces available on both sides. Are you going to bring the Smackdown or Raw?


Gaolthis Tree - max 2k - Julian Dawson is the ref for this, with 7 players, 1 monster and the up and coming mean machine Marky Mark Dallen as A ref. This will certainly be both a great day to play (with someone's, probably Lizzie's permission) or you could be on the monster team and bring to life Jules story. Rogues and thief's need not apply. Siriusly.

TL;DR - It is the world cup on Sunday and for some reason there aren't very many monster going to the caves. So if you are someone who doesnt care for kickball then this is your moment to shine and do your bit for the club.

Future instalments may happen, I mean they should, I might just forget!

What up peeps? So super Fromum is off on a well deserved holiday for a couple of weeks so I will be hitting you up with the weekly updates! Don't feel to jealous of him though, as although he will probs travel like a King, he will still have to put up with Carlo...

So this week we have a few fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun events going down in town!

12th July - Thursday Max 11k - First off we have a bad boy Thursday dungeon reffed by Sam Mottram, it is full on players, equipped with a cracking A-ref in the form of Jack #2 and has 2 out of the 3 monster slots filled. So if like this bunch of slackers you find that you dont have work this Thursday, for whatever reason, then get down and monster. We cant have these mid-week slackers having an easy dungeon, get down there and make them work for their ISP! I am sure this is going to be a great day down in a cave, and you wont have to worry about the monsters trying to justify their stats by claiming it was "as written"

Now that's the mid-week sorted, on to the weekend where us people who work 9-5 jobs can let loose, crack out some paint and pretend to be a mass murderer. It saves us doing it during the week right? I'm not sure I'd get away with that much murder in my office...

14th July - Saturday - We have 4 potential events this Saturday, some looking good, some looking shakier than my hands after a night out!

Frontline / Shadow Legion Max 7500 - Has 5 players and Duncan as a ref! It needs more of everything, especially monsters, otherwise I think the dungeon might be base around a building something near the Hobbits Armpit... So if you are free and want to help these two guilds struggle to fight off their death at the hands of Lee and his "flawless guild system that is clearly working..." feel free to book on and get involved!

1500 4 day lead up - 7 players - crew team full - Whilst Duncan will be making people carry blocks, Lee and Jasper will be following their formulae and making people cry over their moral dilemmas. I suggest that those people who are playing the 1500 4 day and are free should probably book on!

750 - This only has 1 player and no anything else... This dungeon has less chance of running than an elf getting killed by mantic ToD twice in about 12 hours... but anything is possible!

Phil Lloyd pre 8th Birthday bash - 7 players, 1 ref and 0/33 monsters! Clearly a glitch in the matrix, however lets try and fill those slots up and make Phil's birthday a brutal day!

TL;DR - Saturday needs monsters and a couple of extra players across most events


Ill be adding on Sunday later today, apparently I am supposed to be doing this thing called work...

I am not siding with Dave on this because he is my friend, I am siding with him because for once he is actually right.

We all agree that what happened was [----], there is no denying that. Sorry that it happened Lizzie, sometimes people just suck.

Julian, I can understand your frustration with what has happened. However do you really think that your post was in any way helpful towards Lizzie and her getting her stuff back? That's rhetorical, we all know it was not.

You do not know who stole them or why they did it or what kind of a day they had. Its an unacceptable act, however it's totally forgivable. It is just a piece of paper for a game, don't forget that.

Your post and some of the ones that followed were not there to help Lizzie they were just there to shame someone and drive them away from our club. Now can you imagine if we called people out every time they made a mistake in their life and tried to make them feel like [----] then we wouldnt have many people left would we? I am sure even you would be included in that.
Also to just discard Dave's point and refuse to counter it is rude and very childish.

Let's just be rational as we all agree it was [----], but lets go about it in the right way.

I hope Lizzie's stuff gets reprinted and then everything will be ok.

Theme days where people can play what they want rather than people hiding behind ooc rules. I get that everyone wants to have fun but it's a fairly [----] rule, I would quite like my 30 seconds of carnage as my paladin in the brief.

Also events where monsters are actually organised and there are enough not just in the quantity but also in the quality, as everyone knows that monsters are the ones who make events great. So if its a no max, it needs no max monsters.

I really liked the lucky dip base class/race day, like the 25th anniversary dungeon, that was cool.

Maybe a themeday where you can start one of the characters that could only be started on a particular day.

A tribal themeday - I am sure there are quite a few people that are up for this.

Introducing a new race / class day

Evil guys themeday

Fascists guys themeday

I would really [----] love a themeday at J6 or similar - I dont even care what the theme would be

I have more options but my boss just came back so you will have to wait.

I would also like to add my thanks as well. It was an absolutely fantastic event, one of the best I have ever done.

There were so many good moments, like so many I cant actually list them all...

Seeing the kayak in the bush, and finding all the safety equipment, then being terrorised by monsters because all I had was an oar... then slowly spinning my way there and back

Late night chess
Numerous props that needed breaking open - the lump of stone that I just knew had something inside
Knights gym, carrying logs, jumping beams, watching Ryan IC get knocked out during the assault course, Carlo just straight up refusing to partake in it
Breaking into the house and getting the [----] spanked out of us by the undead, collecting their pendants, then later finding out we needed to break them open
Finding the rings in the dagger
The trapped box
The various item summoning encounters - the Demons of Flaming Destruction, The Pit Fighter (im not sure I will forget Rhys's face when Craigy whacked out the 6...)
The several focuses that were in high places or hanging in trees that we needed to get

This list doesnt even cover half of the stuff that we needed to do.

The sheer volume of unique and new encounters that managed to test and entertain a competent party that have been playing for years was outstanding. So many new things and different encounters, literally amazing.

The monster team, [----] me you guys worked your arses off constantly. Thank you to all of you who really, really tried your hardest to ensure that we had a great event, and importantly you really tried to kill us! It was nice to be on the other end of an ass whooping all weekend.

The statting was spot on, even being immune to 50% ish of the monster didn't mean that you could let your guard down, if you did then death was likely! The variety in stats must have been challenging for the monsters to remember but was great to smear us all over the site, repeatedly. The balance of making it hard enough to challenge our party, but not too hard that we didnt engage was 100% correct. Nothing was too hard that we couldnt engage. "Some" encounters we had to hid in prots or behind some force walls or walking on air, but we were still involved in those encounters, or some of us were so far away they were playing golf...

Ajay, Fromum and our horde of monsters, Callum, Ed, Edd, Stacey, Lizzie, Brodders, Rhys, Mark, BBB (hopefully I havent missed anyone, there were just soooooooo many of you!) Thank you so much for the awesome event, it is one of the best I have played!

The above doesnt really even cover half of the awesomeness of this event - Refs for the rest of the year have a lot to live up to!

Lastly, the moves. This was hilarious the whole way through and was a fun and interactive way to get things going without having to spend power.

Thanks for an amazing weekend that I will never forget!

Rangar should not have slain you, regardless of your membership to the Knights or not.
