Priestly Scrolls Options

Hi All,

Figured I'd put this here rather than bothering the esteemed Mr Dale for thoughts and feedback.

I was idling the time away writing a class based around priestly scrolls, and I intended to to it off with the ability to write scrolls of advanced miracles... however on reading the section of scrolls in WFA it says: A priest can only make a scroll of a miracle that he can cast and he uses three times the miracle level in spirit points to make the scroll.

I had always thought that only standard/handbook miracles could be written as scrolls but this implies any miracle could be written.

So, is it...

Option 1: Only Standard Miracles on the priests list
Option 2: Any Published Miracle on the priests list
Option 3: Any Miracle the priest can cast (even his entertaining Non Standards)

I suspect it's option 1...
If its option 2 expect a whole mess of communication with the gods scrolls...
If its option 3 I imagine that we all need to start photocopping our nan-standards and buy extra staplers...

Anyway Clarity much appreciated, if anyone has it... if not I will assume it's option 1 and let lee jump in and correct me.

It’s option 1. You will get ‘write scrolls of advanced miracles’ if you try, but it’ll be on dungeon only.

How are you doing it? Scroll spirits that can only be used in writing scrolls, combo’d with an ability to burn scrolls and add them to your scroll spirit pool?

It is 1 I’m afraid... There’s a scribe class now, start with that then maybe write a good 7 and 8 for what you want?

I had written this...

Class: Spiritual Scrivener

lvl 1: Well equiped with 4sp worth of adventure temp scrolls, Each level of class grants an extra level for manufacturing scrolls in a standard weekly make

lvl 2: Inscribe scroll 1/day: write an adventure temp standard scroll on dungeon costing half spirits but does not need to be on Elans List

lvl 3: Devour Scroll 1/day: destroy scroll get half the spirits back

lvl 4: Re-empower scroll 1/day: re-empower scroll just used for half the spirits

lvl 5: Itemised Scroll 1/day: use scroll with just a "scroll do thy work... XYZ"

Lvl 6: Write advanced published (causing sphere only) scrolls but only useable by Elan and must be noted on the issued card.

Post 6th buy extras of the innates, extra spirits for well equipped and 2 x extra levels for manufacture.

yeah looked at the scribe but Scriptures of Faith don't really work for Elan due to curious background foibles... though he is odly very very book and scripture based... may give up scriptures for something... not sure what yet though.
