Weekly Update, 2nd & 3rd November Options

November is nearly upon us, is a busy month with a themeday, an extended length and lead up for the Final Dawn amongst other dungeons happening. This week we have:

Saturday
Red Flower Merchant Max 15k Guild Special – Being reffed by Rich E who has reffed a few of these now for this trading company, dungeon currently has 6 players but needs an a-ref, has 1 monster booked.
Max 3-day 3k lead up – The official lead up for the event later in November, is being reffed by Stacey and Lee, has 9 players booked and 2 monsters
2 areas are booked for an external booking.
Saturday also has the rugby world cup final at 9am, which England are in. Some people are keen to watch it and there has been some talk of starting the dungeons at 11.15ish so that people can watch the match in the Bickley first then come straight over. Then have shorted lunch/later finish to make up the time. Obviously needs ref approval for each dungeon though. I will do a separate post to discuss.

Sunday
Earthsunder/Soul Forger max 3k joint guild special – These 2 popular guilds are having a joint guild special that already has 14 players booked and a waiting list! Will P is reffing, has an a-ref and 3 monsters but another or monster or 2 would be good.
There is plenty of space for other dungeons today as well


Further Ahead
Tuesday Club is on next week, is in need of a ref and some more players. Tuesdays clubs are up for booking for the rest of the year.
November’s Thursday dungeon is also on next week, an unbalanced 10k being reffed by Miles, currently only has 2 players booked and 1 monster so will need some more of both to be able to run.
The Ruin themeday is on the 9th November, it is being master reffed by Will Power as part of his campaign that has been going on for a few years now. Is a 3 party event that is in desperate need of monsters for the no max section, if anyone is able to help out and book on please do to avoid this section being cancelled.
The 22nd-24th November has the final extended length of the year, a max 3k being reffed by Stacey and Lee, it could do with a few more monsters, see the sub-forum for all the details


Rumours and Gossip
It has been a year on Wednesday since the untimely passing of our regular club member and friend to many, Jack Cotter. There will be remembrance drinks in the Bickley Wednesday evening, with undoubtedly a few jager bombs drunk in his memories and stories of a wonderful guy. Anyone is welcome to come along.

As things stand this weekend:

Saturdays 3k lead up is at 10 players, 2 refs and 3 monsters so is good to go, it will be starting at 11pm so that people can watch the rugby first. The Red Flower Merchant 15k is down to 5 players and no a-ref or monsters, could really do with a couple of crew to make sure it runs.

Sunday's joint guild special is still the only thing booked, it is showing as 12 players but with a waiting list. Drop the booking line an email if you want to try and grab a space, has an a-ref and 4 monsters

Still looking for a ref, as well as more players and monsters, for Tuesday club next week as well!

I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it Sat, given I've been stuck at home with the lurgey the past few days and doubting that being in a cold cave would be in anyway sensible.

I held booking off as there were already only had six players but given we are now down to five so its no longer a Guild Special and we lack crew should we consider postponing it?

Hi BBB,

I think given there is no crew and that you will not make it and that it will no longer count as a guild special I think we should postpone.

I am also suffering from a horrendous cough so not sure how fit I will be either.

I will email Duncan to confirm though.
