So last night was the last of the current booked Tuesday clubs, we will be looking to get the next lot up shortly however over the last few months they have dwindled in numbers. Not sure if there any 1 reason why, but have been contemplating making them monthly rather then fortnightly. I will leave them as every 2 weeks for the next couple of months, then see how we get on before adding more, So if you keen for them to continue please book on!
The change of theme and levels hasn't seemed to have helped numbers, and in fact some have just ended up changing so am going to put them all down as 1500's unless a group of people want them as something different.
4th July - Giles reffing
18th July - Pete reffing
1st August
15th August - Giles
29th August - Rich F reffing
26th Sept
24th October
As always, volunteers to ref early always seems to help numbers as well, so let me know what of the days you can ref. Any new or potential refs are welcome to try their hand at reffing these as well as plenty of experienced players about who are happy to lend a hand.
I know Pete mentioned reffing the next one - but would he mind swapping, as I am in Butlins for the 18th July (fml, no not as an attraction the children enjoy it). If that's ok with Pete, I am happy to ref 4th July & 15th August.
Giles.
I'm still broadly interested in them; atm Tuesday is one of my very few free evenings so they've all been allocated towards FN writing. Come the autumn I would likely be interested in some.
Huw
Swapping is fine with me, Giles. (Its in fact way better for me as it turns out Im in Durham on the 4th)
Pete
Cool cheers Pete - will book to ref
Does anyone else fancy stepping in to ref the other ones??
Does anyone else fancy stepping in to ref the other ones??
It's worth mentioning - that this is a great way to try out reffing if you are interested - it's only a single length, you have a lot of support in that there's always plenty of monsters and an experienced a-ref . By way of encouragement if anyone is considering reffing would like to a-ref for me on either of the above dates - they could ref a few encounters, stat an encounter etc. as a gentle introduction,
Giles.
I'm quite keen to ref again but am not sure on whether I realistically can on Tuesdays what with not getting to the caves until about 6:20/30pm. I don't want to make the dungeon start late when it's already pushed for time as it is.
Most of us aren't getting there until gone 6 - so I really wouldn't worry.
Giles.
I think I speak for everyone when I say I cant wait to explore cougar island.

These are now up on the event diary, with the first one this coming Tuesday, book on!
Hi Simon,
Would be good to have you along. The caves open at about 5.30pm, with the dungeon starting about 6.30pm till 9.15ish. Pizza or fish and chips is then waiting for us all to eat during the debrief in the tavern. We normally finish up about 10pm. The cost is £27, which includes the food and dungeon with 55 points being the max you can earn.
