The city of gold continued to suffer. Though the wealth may be flowing the merchants had to contend with random patches of the Nacht finding its way into the area. A "normal" trade run now became a dangerous trek of dodging areas of primal instability and roving nacht beasts.

Sure the mercenaries were working hard to contain the problem but primal strength was absolutely shot in the area, and only seemed to be getting worse.

Something had to shift... preferably not to a different world.
