I have a monastic paladin (2.3K) who is not aligned to any church who might be interested in coming along.

Is there a problem with that? (Carlo, I fully expect you to book off smile.gif )

Do I need to buy ley believer? It shouldn't be a problem as I have not played since before the guild rules change and I have 300pts to spend plus nearly 500 of guild spend refund!

FYI - Tia is a bleeding liberal who believes that there is one god only represented by many forms to enable the divine to be comprehended by man. (I'm sure I'll tell you about the pumpkin.) Her dead hero would be her monastic trainer who showed her there was more to life than her previous existance. He is dead which I suppose is a bit of a prerequisite.

Anyhoo, I don't have a guild directory to hand so I'm not sure joining is appropriate.

Let me know smile.gif

Oh, um.... I have an appointment that day so have to book off...

<joking>

You're more than welcome zoe, think you might need to buy ley believer, but as youve gone monastic it only costs 20 points, then 30 for a true believer.

I've used my "you stole my ref" card, and booked on as discussed :-)

Actually for a Paladin with monstic its only 10pts

1/2 cost for Paladin = 20pts
1/2 cost for monastic = 10pts

Surely one of those reductions needs to be a Percentile?

Or fractional, true. Monastic doesn't affect True Believer, either iirc, it just lets a non-paladin/AP/Grey Knight buy it.
But doesn't Dead Heroes let paladins join anyway?

Paladins (etc.) can join churches now normally, proviing they aren't prevented form entering the priest bracket.
