Greetings,

It is part of my Purpose to spread the teachings of gold and ivory spells across the lands.

I can fairly trivially write teaching scrolls of any advanced gold or ivory spell. These will cost any who ask 1,500 grulls for each rank of mana.

I am also willing to apprentice anyone who directly draws on the powers of my parents, Harmony and Purpose, or as they are more commonly known the gold and ivory dragons. Whilst I am very much a being of light heart, it is not my place to judge when it comes to those who call upon my parents magics, I am willing to teach any who wish it, so long as they not be outlaws. Any I take as apprentice, I can teach my own spells that I have devised over the years, and I will continue to learn many more I hope, and share that knowledge too. The cost for these teaching scrolls will unfortunately be 2000 grulls per rank of mana. I would also be interested in any spells you may have ideas for, as any such I learn I can also write scrolls of for you. Obviously I can only teach so many apprentices at a time, but will hopefully find time for any who ask eventually.

Please post here or send me an elemental if interested in either of the above.

I wish I could offer these services for free, but they are costly and my time for making such is limited.

I can now also offer permanent blessings for any apprentice. And for any gold or ivory Drave.

There is no charge for this, just ask.

The golden blessing is as per a priestly blessing, and will reverse if you perform an evil act.

The ivory blessing only reverses if you break the ivory code.

If any wish to, you may also choose to benefit from a permanent mark ally spell from me. This does require a small investment of your own time and effort ((10 pts)). It will however allow me to locate and summon you from a goodly distance away should there be need, even if my ally is slain. And I am permanently linked with all such allies, and can recall such through most barriers. If you are a knight of the land, or I have often marked you before then I will gladly do so again. Otherwise, just send me a request to confirm.

With regards to apprentices, I currently have about seventy spells of my own devising I can potentially share with my apprentices. I currently have four apprentices, with another couple due to start soon. But given the cost of writing the scrolls, it is likely I can share my time around for a few more. I require no loyalty or obedience from my apprentices, simply a shared desire to spread my parents magic as far and wide as I can. So should any not wish to become apprentices, I am happy to share knowledge of spells regardless, for purposes of your own research. And would equally welcome inspiration from any that have devised useful spells of their own.

Apologies but my time is spoken for, for the next couple of months, with writing scrolls for myself and my apprentices.

I do have a couple of teaching scrolls of sanctuary put aside. And will be writing teaching scrolls of ivory warrior next week.

But unless either of those are what you seek I cannot help in the near future. Though would be happy to help should I return from the cottage I am to visit soon.

I'm not an mage yet but if I pass my entrance exam to the arcaanum I plan to follow one of your parents. Could you show me some of your best glyphs to help me decide which would be most beneficial?

Normally to become an apprentice, wizardry must be your primary vocation. But if you do have the means to become an apprentice, it would be my pleasure to teach you.

However, I would suggest that it is not a case of which glyphs are most beneficial, becoming a mage that follows either of my parents is more a matter of who you are and what you believe, your own personal philosophy.

My father is Harmony, the shield that protects. His path is a willingness to sacrifice to protect others. To seek peaceful resolution where possible. To value friendship highly, and to care for others, oft more than you care for your self.

My mother is Drakkon Purpossa, or Purpose, the blade that fights with honour, and does what is necessary, no matter the cost. She is unflinching, unforgiving and uncompromising. To follow her is to be known as one that can be trusted to do what you say, and to act with honour in her name. Her path is a demanding one, and as such I have fewer apprentices that follow her.

I have a great number of spells from both my parents. It is my intent soon, should I be able, to list the basic details of all such spells here. But should you, or any, still be interested in an apprenticeship beforehand then seek me out or send me a private missive and I can share detailed information on each spell available.

Tis my preference to keep things relating to my parents magic in this one place. As such, having survived the recent mission against the Destroyer, now feels the time to let all those who follow my father, the gold dragon, know that we have a new artifact to share.

Harmony's scale, a potent shield, is now available to be loaned to any who use gold magic. It was acquired through the endeavours of Lady Una and myself, but is for all to use and benefit from.

It is nearly indestructible. It grants the requisite knowledge to use a shield to any who wish to wield it. Any shield blessing cast into it will last 24 hours, whilst so blessed it can negate 2 ranged attacks each day, physically or magically if the blessing is magical, or also spiritually/mantically if the blessing is also such. It enhances your stamina, moreso the more experienced you grow. The first time each day you fall unconscious it will help sustain you.

Please just ask, here or privately, and I will arrange for it to be made available.

((master status, calls to hand for sirac 1/dy, grants the utilise shield skill, extends any shield blessing to 24 hours, negates a physical or magical ranged attack as per warcry 2/dy (or other power bases as above), +12/4 or +18/6 if dungeon is above 1.5k or 24/8 if dungeon is above 3k. LTM 12 first time a day that it is needed. Can be used by any gold mana user.))

So, I have finally compiled my notes on the spells I can teach to my apprentices. They are as follows, I will update here as I learn more. As stated above, I will teach my magics without regard of your world views. However it has come to my attention that some may seek my knowledge for truly fell purposes. As such I will divine a little about you before accepting a new apprentice if we have not met. If not able to be divined about I will need to come to know you first.

Sirac’s Spellbook

Gold

Tier 4

Directional repulsion. Straight line in rear arc.

Tier 6

Fetch ally. Willing ally within a mile arrives within 20’ of caster as desired. Must be able to see otherwise must cast find ally.

Harmony’s blade. Purely magic weapon loses ability to cause harm but gains disarm at will.

Hostile attraction. As attract ally but any. Cannot be struck whilst pulled by spell. 40’ range.

Strength in numbers. LTM equal to number of allies. Duration adventure.

Mass attract ally. All within 40’.

Bastion of solace. From tempo of battle or equivalent. Tempo to all published / agreed spells until Sirac inflicts damage.

Tier 8

Greater strengthen. Cast as warcry. Grants whatever resistance level needed for one effect. Resistance versus that effect remains as needed for 5 minutes. Costs a casting lvl to cast.

Bridge of force. 20’ long and 10’ wide bridge.

Dome of force. Converts a wall of force into a dome with a 6’ radius. Can trap 2 creatures or 4 willing targets.

Repulsion blade. Must be able to cast a form of chain repulsion. Now inflicts the 2mp glyph by blow. No mana cost but 1tblp regardless. Does work even if hits a shield or is parried.

Tier 9

Grace in battle. Cast as a warcry. Grants immune to dex drain or any effect that reduces or negates DAC. Must be a gold drave or have racial dac.

Tier 10

Aura of lesser repulsion. Negates all weapon masteries. Immune to aura of defence applies.

Chain repulsion. One per 10 seconds. 1 tblp but no mana cost. Costs a casting lvl for an hour.

Mass hostile attraction. As per hostile attraction but only on non marked allies. Must be able to cast hostile attraction. 40’ radius burst. Draws all creatures out of walls and floors. Moves them at speed so breaks most stealths. Don’t need to see targets.

Attract magic. As war cry. All ranged attacks with a magical component that hit an ally within 20’ hit caster instead. Applies for 2 seconds before and next 5 seconds. Costs casting lvl for an hour. GSM permission to learn.

Tier 12

Harmonies shield. ½ fct bronze magical dmg, stacking with tables ½ fct. If elemental lord and has ½ fct bronze, now totally immune to all bronze magic.

Tier 14

Draconic shielding. Warcry. ¼ fct one colour (from ½ fct).

Mass Hearten. All targets within 20'. Don't have to be mark allies but if weren't dominated would have to have been willing.

Tier 15

Sirac’s greater forcetrap. As per lesser forcetrap. Cannot be destroyed by damage. Unless target is immune to emotion attacks, so happy inside doesn’t want to leave. This does mean cannot apply AoF unless immune to emotion. If target suffers any dmg from an external source contentment breaks. If killed within caster suffers dmg as per breaking a befriend. GSM permission to learn.

Tier 16

Personal bodyguard. Duration adventure. One ally. Permanent attract magic within 20’. Must be able to cast attract magic. May learn multiple times to cast on more allies.

Tier 18

Greater mass shield. 24 hour mass shield. Must be able to cast mass shield.

Tier 20

Aura of repulsion. 20’ repel just before any blow lands. Caster can inflict by non damaging blow also. Cannot harm others. No protection versus ranged attacks.

Aura of pacification. Non marked allies within 20’ effected by pacification at casters skill level. Immune to aura of defence applies.

Tier 22
True Haven. Must be able to cast haven. Encompasses an entire building or equivalent. Grants all allies GAM. All allies gain +1 med rate.

Tier 30

Siracs Greater Shield Blessing. As per published shield blessing. Duration 24 hours. Shield is master status for the duration. T10 to learn.

Ivory

Tier 6

Rufus’s ivory bastion. Must own tempo of battle. All published or agreed spells active or cast within the combat are tempo’d. Half cost casting this if in a sanctuary.

Enhance armour. Immune to blasts. Treat a blow and any attached effect as separate attacks for armour and dmg reduction purposes. Only works versus magical component of any dmg.

Brothers in arms. Target bound by ivory code, as if caster broke if target breaks it. Ivory stalwart and ivory champion abilities apply to target for ivory warrior runes if caster has them. (So up to 20 runes).

Ivory grasp. Immune to all non purely spiritual sn fumble effects, or any attempt to disarm or displace weapon or shield.

Grace of the warlord. Grants immunity to any effect that reduces or negatively impacts AC or max AC. Must possess the relevant celerity and be 1st class warrior.

Tier 8

Martial Lore. Any weapon masteries the caster has for one weapon now apply to all weapons wielded. A weapons master cannot cast this.

Tier 10

Relentless Purpose. Don’t fall over when resisting a dying effect until combat ends. Takes 6 tblp regardless per dying effect every 30 seconds until falls over. Gsm permission to learn, post 10k.

True honour. Enhances honour spell, including perm versions. ¾ dmg reductions from behind, negates any increase in damage for striking from behind or surprise, not just backstab.

Ivory juggernaut. Total immunity to anything magical that isn’t damage. Including all beneficial spells and healing. If leave combat spell ends.

Talon of drake. Solely magical weapon that is already inflicting ivory damage. Cuts thru aura of defence. Grants immunity to loss of masteries due to visual obscurements. Does not trigger repercussions on blow (ward breach on blow etc)

Draconic fury. Adrenal surge. Cast once per 3 hours.

Deny escape. Deny power versus any ebony spell used to escape or in any way become invisible. As per warcry. Does work against grtr escape and pass unknown.

Strength of warlord. +1 stacking strength. Strength now sufficient for any non combat purpose a mortal could ever feasibly achieve. Immune to str drain, may cast as warcry. Ivory drave only.

Scales of the drake. Must have 3 to sever or 2 plus JOTK. Post elemental lord. Immune to all sever / loc zero attacks. Can cast as a warcry.

Ivory strike. Next blow acts as per shatter magic. 2 mp less if cast on an enhanced weapon.

Honours shield. Warcry. Bound by terms of honour glyph and cant use any ranged attack, damaging or otherwise. Gains ½ effect or damage versus any ranged attack, stacking with reductions versus colours/elements.

Tier 12

Mass see thru mists. All allies within 20’.

Ivory Shield. ½ fct ebony magical dmg, stacking with tables ½ fct. If elemental lord and has ½ fct ebony, now totally immune to all ebony magic.

Tier 14

Honours shield. Recipient must adhere to ivory code and terms of honour glyph or spell ends. 3 hour duration. Once within duration may call for ivory dragons aid and all damage from up to 3 blows from behind is negated, as a warcry. Not purely spirit damage.

Armour of the Drakeson. As armour of Alator but all weapon blows including unarmed.

Ivory Justice. Post elemental lord. Enhances JOTK to 15 pts a blow.

Fortified sanctuary. Any published sanctuary and true sanctuary. All allies can choose either percentile or fractional dmg reduction.

Tier 16

Greater enhance weapon. In all ways as enhance weapon but weapon becomes purely magical and cuts through magical armour.

Greater mobility. Must be magic only to learn / cast. As mobility but allows caster to traverse any barrier with a magical component. Including prots, bar spirits, and any other barrier or warding, though doesn’t protect against effects of transgressing.

Ivory artisan. One magic weapon or shield becomes master status for 24 hours. Cant contain a spirit unless is own equipment.

Greater fury, as per fury but base of 33% and empower takes to 50%. Does work with fortify sanctuary.

Tier 18

Ivory Justice (other). Grants JOTK, or enhances if already owned to 15 pts a blow.

Tier 20

Ivory warpack. 24 hour rune of ivory warrior to all marked allies. Stacks with and counts as first rune for subsequent castings.

Draconic arms and armour. Damage reductions from ivory spells can’t be cut thru. Enhance weapon always benefits from ivory soldier (30 min duration). Lasts 24 hours.

Tier 25

Mass mobility. All allies within 20'.

Tier 30

True sanctuary. As sanctuary but covers a building or similar sized locale, ref discretion. Works as an empowered sanctuary. If empower cast then becomes 50% dmg reduction and all allies gain a freedom of the drake innate. Elemental lord to cast. Does work with perm empower sanctuary abilities.



Ivory and gold

Tier 8

Replenish magic. All gold/ivory self spells with a 5 min or more duration can be extended for another 5 mins. Max 30 mins total. Costs ½ the mana value of the original spell. 1st colour gold and ivory to cast.

Tier 10

Strength of a warrior. +2 stacking resist lvls, cast as a warcry, doesn’t stack with other temp increases.

Tier 16

Aura of hostile attraction. 1st colour gold and ivory. Must be able to cast hostile and mass hostile attraction. Any opponent that strikes caster or is struck by caster cannot move more than 10’ from him. Immune to repels applies.

Tier 18

Cage fight. Must be able to cast hostile and mass hostile attraction. Acts as per mass hostile attraction. Repels out any allies that do not wish to stay. Then creates a 15’ radius dome of force.
