Earthsunder future

Let it be known that as hinted at previously, from henceforth any Earthsunder interests will now all be located in primacy to the Brekkans next to our spiritual home and the hearth of the Soul Forger. Too long have we been sat apart over the expanse of the mountains and it is time for us to finally unite as a family should.

For those not too familiar with the area this is historically owned and marshalled by our ancestral kin. Our Grand Guild Hall and other interests will be relocating to this area over the next year and I would ask all of the clan to get behind this exciting and captivating new venture. If you have any plans for the Brandins (currently working on a CC in the area), I would urge you to instead relocate this to our new intended base of operations in the far north by tweaking your contracts.

Earthsunder and Soul Forger defences

I would urge all dwarfs in these uncertain times to look around them and to get with the fortification of our places of interests to protect our kin and those who would seek our aid and assistance in times of need. May I take this opportunity to issue a stark warning that the forces of Ruin, The Destroyer and the Shadow of the First Evil continue to pervade and harass all decent folk across the land – not long ago our main sites were ritualistically attacked and so I would urge all of us to get behind this effort to prevent such a tragedy happening again. If you would like to know what ‘you’ could do to protect the clan, then message me privately please – I would ask all our dwarvern heroes to consider this their prime civic duty to ensure the safety of our kin and our allies

Goats

Not wanting to bleat on about this (cough) but our dearest Eggbert has done us proud and on his own completed the Earthsunder farm which raises and supplies these wonderful mounts. As you would expect, Eggbert has the first mount from the farm and one other has been handed out since – presently we may issue four a year. Those who frequent the clans expeditions the most will be first in the queue for such a wonderful beast. These will forever more be known as ‘Eggberts Billys’. It is also with deep regret that I announce that Eggbert will no longer be adventuring with us so this legacy as he has finally moved to face the Soul forger long, long before his time was done. He has left for us something which must be cherished and looked after and I look forward to meeting you all soon to raise a mug of ale and to applaud his efforts in all that he did for us.

Earthsunder businesses

I am pleased to announce that Earthsunder acquired a new business consisting of a gold mine on the 20th Septembus 2020 (exact location is a well-guarded secret) – this in addition to one other business (gem mine donated by Dagda) and is already providing an income to the clan – I would urge any dwarfs on a mission to consider legitimately and fairly acquiring any small business which comes your way for the benefit of us all.

Of the North

We have had two highly successful adventures now with Dipp and others. I am pleased that our relationship with our brothers and sisters in the far north goes from strength to strength.

Soul Forger status and third tier

Following our recent heroic efforts, despite the ongoing difficulties we have just managed in time to secure our final tier and a status – the details of these are presently unknown to me but look out for the next Almanac featuring our final tier and status – well done fellow priests of the Soul Forger

Soul Forger Cathedral

I have pleasure to announce that our ancestral church has recently commissioned the construction of a Cathedral in the Brekkans – initially this will benefit us with a scriptorium providing scrolls of power to the faithful however in time this will be further expanded to include crypts and other suitable embellishments to the benefit of our maker and our main place of worship

Moot 2021

In these uncertain times, we have not been able to gather in sufficient numbers however I fully intend to set up and host a Forum within the Soul Forger Grand Hall in the Brekkans in the new-year – we have much to discuss, many drinks to have and many plans to make. Invitations with an agenda will be sent out shortly – should you have any questions about this in the meantime, please message me privately to discuss (looking at June at the moment)

I am new to the North and the Faith, in a previous life I was a priest of tLoS. My body is now much different, and I feel pulled to the Great Soul Forger, Although I am now a dwarf it appears I have some hang ups from my previous life - I cannot wear any armour nor utilise a physical weapon, my connection with the Great Soul Forger does seem great though. I also have the power to imagine things or think about them greatly and the come true or give me insights into things.

So Dadga, let me know what I can do in this great endeavour.

See how necromancy would be a better choice? Who needs two ways to commune?

We all have the innate dwarven way of communing, exclusive to Earthsunder anyway: push Ironcore over the line and ask him how he feels after.
