Good news - 11 players booked onto the Saturday event.
For those that played the first part, you will be familar with the setting and nature of the event. For those playing this part without the benefit of the first adventure, if you can, please read the various mails regarding the events in Alguz. Ideally I would like to have time phaff in the hiring hall as soon as each of you is ready. Thsi will give players a chance to chat and find out about events from the previous adventure. What I want to avoid is new players feeling left out and "second tier" because a few core players know what is going on. I hope to have a fun day, we have 3 monsters and I am hoping Max as an A-ref - although he has not booked yet. Non Standards Cause Fear – run away – role play this properly! spiritual only Foul Touch – all foul touch is set at 3 points. spiritual only Fleeting “X” – ALL called undead touch effects will be fleeting and last 30 seconds. All undead touch effects will be spiritual only Dark Dart – 6/1 black mana dart that is stopped by 1 MAC (it is a 2nd rank glyph if checked) Touch of the Void – as vanish animate but spiritual in nature Level Drain – loose 1 level of casting & resistance level. If reach zero, die. Spiritual only Traps – inflict 9 TBLP and 9 to the nearest loc stopped by PAC at 1 / 1. physical damage Greater Cache – 18 / 3 physical damage stopped at 6/1 by innate PAC plus a knockback, knockdown and stunning blow. physical damage Acid Burn – 6 / 6 physical acid damage If anyone has contact details for the monsters, I would love to send the adventure early so they are prepared Cheers and see you all on Sunday David |

As I can't see the names of those booked on I can't tell how many guests we have. Do we have a guest wizard and if not could a friend of ours book on? This question is as much to other players as to David.

This question is as much to other players as to David. David, as referee, should be able to see the names of people booked on, as should Paul Dallen as the organiser. Looking at the list of names I would guess that 8 or 9 of the people booked on are Mortai or some derivative thereof, so should be fine for guest slots if nobody disagrees. David - if you e-mail the booking line with the adventure then Rach should be able to forward the adventure on to the monsters (two of which are quite new to Labby) Andy -------------------- Damn I love muggles

With regards to the dispel: erk. At least I know it'd hurt him a lot to do it?
I think it's ok to have a wizard then - Max, would you mind if I gave the spot to Chris? He asked a while back. I need to tell him tonight so let me know. -------------------- - Rebecca

Would it not be better considered and polite to let the organiser make that decision?

No problems to me, just saying if you want a Scribe/Silver Wizard, just ask. Otherwise i'll just have a lie in or monster. Or both.

Max,
Sorry wasn't meant as a slight to you or anyone else. I'm sure Paul would/will love to have you along. It was just the bounding enthusiasm being shown (which is very good) seemed to be running away I know Paul is checking with Rach as the guild directory tends to indicate that a guild start up (which this is) needs to be solely guild members and makes no mention of guest slots. I'm sure this is just an oversight but I know Paul doesn't want to come a cropper and see the guild not start properly due to red tape. Regards, Tim No problems to me, just saying if you want a Scribe/Silver Wizard, just ask. Otherwise i'll just have a lie in or monster. Or both. Max |

Would it not be better considered and polite to let the organiser make that decision? Tim 's what I posted to the forums for Turns out he's booked on anyway, if there are any problems let me know and I'll pass them on. I'm sure our guests would rather the guild started up than anything else. We do have 90% battleboarding it though so I hope it's okay. -------------------- - Rebecca
