It was with heavy heart that the Beggars of Sellaville walked in a slow, shuffling mob, with heads held low under their hoods to protect against the autumn chill.

It seemed Baker street and the bakery situated half way down the street was their destination.

One of the beggars central to the procession was seen to be holding an old wooden box, with a crown on top of it. If the word on the street was true, the box held the ashes of Zephaniah of Sellaville, which were to be interred, according to his wishes, in the oven of the bakery on Baker street.

It was said that he had sacrificed himself to become a flare bright enough for a single day to save Sellaville when his city needed him, to grant him the strength to oppose great danger.

Those close to the council talked of how many a decade back King Draport of Seval was betrayed and cursed, twisting him into the King of Dusted Bone and broken Truths. It was his crown Zephaniah had claimed after the skeletal Kings failed assault against the City with his Legion of dusted bone skeletons.

Shortly after this the flames that had allowed Zephaniah to burn so brightly during the day consumed him, as was his pact.

But the city was safe, and the collected Heroes of the Empire had triumphed against the threat, though many many laid dead in the wake of the forces that had descended upon them.
