A place relevant to The Forge

Osen was the last of the smiths - before Me. Like most of my forebears he made his place at Curn’s Grasp. Curn is a myth of course, a giant who shattered the land so that the islands came to be. And it was said that he did so at what is now called his Grasp. A…very powerful place.

I am committed elsewhere and therefore cannot take mastery of Curns Grasp curently it seems, that may change as time passes.

Mastery of the Grasp requires a discarding of other places, other ties. A wandering smith has the most power, but even he might have a home for he and his – Curn’s Grasp. To take that place you must discard all others.

The ravens are the servants of the smiths. They speak wisdom and lies in equal measure. But they know the difference between both in others.

Osen’s power was great, a man that could make stone to metal, and metal to tools. He was a spreader of hard toil and independence. He too had made a single blade some ‘Dawns, but only five in total.

Jander, and others

While travelling with Rivan in aiding Port Miere, i found out that the forces of the six horned god are currently at Curn's Grasp and are currrently trying to tap into its power, or at least corrupt it in a similar fashion to what they had done at the shrines within the port. It is also currently being used as the main staging point for sending the blauz into the city.

Also, while in Port Meire, while trhowing the runes for guidance, many laid face down, unable to draw on the power of the Forge. I pressume this is due to the close proximaty to Curn's Grasp, and what ever the enemy has done there.

Within the next few weeks i intend to travel to Curn's Grasp to drive out the forces there, and make it safe once more, if any of you could travel with me it would be much appreciated.

This does not sound good, it would be good to remove the influnce of the spiter from there and gain some more understanding of its nature, it is a place of power for me and my kind.

Jander and others,

Me and William plus a few of our friends went to Curn's Grasp yesterday. The Blauz had literally set their camp right out side the entrance to it

We made our way in a sort of subtle wfashion through the camp and found signs of them looking for the entrance to the Caverns, but they hadn't yet discovered it. Their not likely to now either as the camp was ritually struck later in the day by some other folk, killing most of the enemy there. Luckily we were within the caverns by that point.

The grasp is now relatively safe to enter, we have made a shrine to The Forge their, crafting an anvil and hammer which stand next to the place where Osen fell. This has made it stronger, and tied it more to The Forge.
Jander, communications suggest at some point it is worth you travelling there and crafting something within the forge, claiming it as your own even if you don't stay there. With your permission I am happy to stay their and work the smith till as or when you wish to claim it as your own.

Things were made more complicated by another group that travelled there, a group known as Blood Smiths who were working with members of the 6 horned gods forces. They were in fact worshipers of The Forge but wanted to use the power of the Grasp to alter Jander and make him less goodly. We actually wished to speak to them but never really got much chance as they attacked us on sight and eventually managed to kill them.

Should any other followers of the faith wich to come to Curns Grasp, please let me or William know and we will guide you in as some of the worker golems are still a bit tempremental.

Gerehand

Gerehand and others that travelled to Cruns Grasp

thank you for this information.

I did go there once but it was not long after i assumed the power of Osen and his line. the ravens there would not allow me access. i discovered at that point to fully master the place i would need to give up all other places, which is not practical.

Now i have mastered my nature more i may be able to link to it further, especially as you seem to have done well already.

I am happy for you to be a custodian of such a place Gerehand, that may also assist as you are linked closely to me.

I will try to get there and develop, the Marks of the Forge may be able to assist and thanks once again to all the 'Warsmiths ' that attended

You know,

I'm not entirely sure that the Foe fully understand the significance of where they have plonked their base.

The Priests of the Blood Forge had been able to skirt through the camp by making a deal with the Priests of the Blood Forge to make them weapons.

These priests of the Blood Forge are the kind of people to engineer wars just to be able to sell to both sides.

Oh, you weren't joking when you said that Curn was a giant. The size of the halls were, well, they weren't small!

I would be more than happy to help out again should there be future ventures to Curn's Grasp or other locations.
