For some years, the land around Arvalath's Cradle in the Bildteve Highlands has been potently warded and protected by the gaze of Arvalath and the power of the Church of Mortai and its supernatural allies. Within a mile of the Cradle undead simply burn away in a golden light and the land is consecrated and holy. Through much effort and sacrifice the Church and its allies has slowly but surely purged, redeemed, converted or otherwise dealt with all the ancient Kesselharn Houses and major undead threats within the region. After one final push and a grand alliance between all those who hold places of power within the region, the touch of the Cradle now spreads wider then ever before, touching even the remotest villages within the Highlands.
This has the following effects, the former which has been the case for some years, that latter which is new: Arvalath's Cradle - within 1 mile of the Cradle there is a rite of the bright god, additionally all undead who enter into that 1 mile radius suffer an undead destruction fx that burns them away to nothing with golden light. The area is also consecrated and benefits from Holy Ground and Light of Faith. Undead not immediately destroyed are likely to encounter exceptionally potent non-ritual defences also. The Highlands - the entire Bildteve Highlands is considered to be in Holy Ground (as per the miracle). This power lasts until the end of 2016, but can be extended by appropriate CC contracts. |

This has been a truly epic campaign. It kicked off some 5 or 6 years ago and has been an absolute romp. We rolled in as a church in our Size 12s on our first dungeon and got absolutely stomped in to the ground. Through the years we have uncovered the complex and rich weave of background designed by Huw and the whole area has felt alive (or should I say...undead). I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Huw for all the work he has put in to this through the years, it has been very much appreciated.

100% agree! Wonderful campaign with tons of plotlines, background, twists and turns. Unfortunately I didn't play any of the earlier dungeons but thoroughly enjoyed every one I have done.
