Grateful merchant Korkus Delamere issued a public statement of thanks to the Knights of the Land for rescuing him from pirates.
“Without the Knights I would have been a dead man!” he commented. “I owe them my life, and thank them truly and deeply.” In other news, the Watch are investigating a public fight involving the Knights of the Land which led to the death of local trader, Denton Dish. After the struggle, Dish was found dead nearby with all fingers pointing at the mercenaries. Also local character Jim Biggins was found face down in the harbour having had his eyes and tongue removed, and his throat slit. Renowned Pit Fighter Ella the Red explained “A bunch of Knights turned up to talk with him and a day later old Jim turns up dead. They say I lose it sometimes, well, they say it once, but these mercenaries leave a trail of slaughter behind them that puts a bunch of ravaging Reavers to shame!” -------------------- Will Power - will@labyrinthe.co.uk
