Check out the Evolution book (the pink one), the standard Undead Multiraces are in there, I think it covers everything you need

Player undead are different. Standardly you can be a ghoul, mummy, wraith, wight or vampire. Whichever you pick you retain full sentience and just pick up a few appropriet abilities. They pick up a lot of immunities and can get innates of undead touch effects. However, level 1 includes immunity to restore and animate life.

i was thinking of starting as an undead dan The only way to really start as undead from the word go would be to ref point something up to 8th and 75, and then immediately buy 1st level of Undead MR, but this obviously isn't an option for you. Applying for a non-standard base race of Undead would likely come back as 'no - just buy multirace at 8th', unless you said that pre-8th you gain all the 1st level disadvantages/restrictions of being undead but none of the benefits, and that 1st level of Undead MR has to be the absolute first thing purchased post 8th (at which point you gain the benefits). Other than that your only other options are Nightsoil or Ritter Drachyul, which are both sort of undead. Nightsoil details are in the 1st(?) edition Almanac, Ritter Drachyul are in DotC. Any questions PM me or grab me at the caves when I'm reffing (any Wednesday or Sunday YP dungeon) Craig |

Its dominion of the circle, the baronies source book. I wouldn't recommend playing a ritter unless you really know the roleplay that comes with it. Going undead at 8th level rather than from 4th has very little putcome on your character. Besides nothing stops you from roleplaying it from 4th

ok i will just start of as human then multirace either vampire or wraith can wraiths use warcrys etc or not because they cant talk dan Monster wraiths can not talk. Player wraiths can talk. Although, you asking about warcries concerns me slightly, are you looking to play an something in the warrior bracket? Because I want to make sure that before you play an undead warrior that you are aware that undead characters are very difficult to heal, and nigh on impossible to restore to life. Seriously. This means that an undead warrior would likely meet his permanent end fairly early on. |

Player undead do not work the same as monster/handbook undead. I recommend picking up a copy of evolution and having a read before you make any decisions. Player wraiths are still hurt by all power bases bar neuronics. What they do have, however, it's lots of cool immunities and touch effects. The trade off being that they are very difficult to heal and ress.
