Hoooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwlllllllllll

Divine 15 + Sever, cutting through all defences and AC (without a points apt) on every blow... fight lasted at least 20 minutes. All the while being attacked by "smaller" things that could only be hurt by people that were members of a church.

We lost Duncan and Cat to illness, Phil and Sonny to the late hour so ultimately the 5 of us soldiered on somehow managed to completed the task.

Huge thanks for a wonderful day

I need to replace my single handed spear.

Having no luck finding someone who either stocks them, or can custom make for beginning of July ideally.

So far have tried LarpInn, Light armoury and the Viking Store. Also tried to contact Simon Morgan direct, and through the Eldritch website with no luck.

Any other suggestions welcome please. Would be happy to pay a bit extra for a custom made one, though equally happy to just buy a decent quality generic one handed spear. Think my current one is about 46'', looking for similar size.

Cheers,

Sean

Sorry, meant to come back to you earlier. The original spear was from Simon Morgan but it was a while ago

Hey all,

So these are currently booked as 5250. But nobody booked on at all for this months Thursday! This will be a standalone adventures set within my campaign.

I know it's early doors, and been a busy month with the 3 day and now the Easter weekend. But just wanted to check if there is still interest at this threshold, or would preference be for a max 10k unbalanced?

Happy either way, but need to start writing very soon as will take me a couple of weeks at least with RL commitments. So thought I'd best ask now!

And whilst I'm at it, a reminder the next weekend instalment of my campaign, max 3k, is on Saturday 20th May.

Cheers,

Sean

It always amazes me how many people know the "Emporer's will" and use this to drive their view to the exclusion of others wishes.

Did the Emporer request we make a peace? Yes
Did the Emporer say the deal we arrived at was his desired outcome? No

Our deal was only one peace, another could have been found. One that was more acceptable to Lord Naga. Lord Naga voted no but that does not mean he is going against the Emporer's will. It means the negotiations at that point were not acceptable to him.

I am sure if you all sit down and share some tea, a sensible outcome with honour restored will be found. Discussion by written word are never satisfactory and often lead to misinterpretation

Lord Naga, I humbly ask you agree to tea with the Jade Council before any duel and I ask the other lord to consider my words

I suspect honour for all remains intact

Mantic mana form and mantic empowered weapon (or golden golem and chains of X) seems pretty potent to me

Good for you Radah,

You may never be absolved of your crimes by the empire (and that is completely up to them) but redemption is tough road to walk and looks like you are giving it your best

Lee

How does Daring Deed work with the combat wary option and the need to prep? Given it is unlikely you "prep" to get hit, is it just 1/15 mins, you spend 6 TBLP and get 12 ranks of combat wary? Is there any way to use the prep to get it down to 0 TBLP (in general combat)?

Cheers

David

Correct 6 life for 12 points of combat wary. The Daring Deed class (art of War or battle) gives casting stamina for daring deed.

5000 grulls if he was a mercenary on the same hire as you
50,000 if he was a wolfshead
Dependent on his crimes and what the posters say if he was a random criminal that you brought in (up to the ref)

Warrior taking skirmisher - grants some DAC and FAP (or Bilteve Pit Fighter status works)

Ensure you have lots of healer girlfriends about to keep you up and moving

Wow, sounds like a bad case "not white enough" to me.
You wiped out a group without trial or a license from a magistrate. Nice work... what's next some peons for not tithing enough to their lords? You even admit it was below an imperial city... which one - does the city council know you are murdering their citizens?

On a serious note just to clarify nothing has changed about what you have said before, if i have cast a magical golden golem as a caster with a spirit, can i still cast shock spells without it going down if delivered by touch? Would these shock spells have to be mantic?

That sounds to me like "engaging in melee"... or requiring you to "touch the target" neither of these is allowed. Just have to stick to unlimited mantic firebolts!

To mercenaries that may be interested in helping Stonehaven

I am not completely sure but I think a group I travelled with sundered these protections. They were from a very powerful undead creature who wants to turn all Primus to undeath (and worth noting they killed a lot of locals and raised them all as intelligent undead)
So before you go about restoring the protections, I would check on this person's motivation (is he an undead for instance?) and think carefully about whether you want to support this or not

I might be wrong but worth checking

Hello all!

I am potentially being asked to undertake a mission tomorrow by someone called Daisaku Hiromichi, of House Panama. May I ask, can you confirm if there is such a person in your clan? I just want to make sure someone isn't using your house name in vain and trying to trick me.

With upmost respect

Is there a character list for tomorrow?

10 of us now with 3 monsters, a-ref and ref so going to be a great day.

Sean, do we bring food for an IC lunch or not?

Cheers

I had a great time this weekend - monstering the Saturday's "Purple Plus" on Saturday them playing on the Sunday. Both were fun events.

On the Saturday, the monster morale was high, we had a lot of laughs and plenty of action. It was certainly a fighty type adventure and think we all worked hard to give the players a fun but scary day. The opening encounter when the party shifted in was certainly memorable! I really enjoyed the RP and the fights.

On the Sunday, plenty of puzzles and RP, with some interesting and complex tasks and traps. The "blue glow" was my highlight as it was a completely new way of forcing the players to think and act. My low point was 8 monsters doing quad + sever on every blow that respawned from around the nearest corner after 3-5 seconds. Still it was a no max so having bits which were beyond the ability of a 6K archer is expected

Overall, it was a great deal of fun and thanks for letting me participate

David

QUOTE(Orlock @ Feb 9 2017, 01:49 PM) *
Are these game safe/legal ?

Can you recommend any other suppliers who would be acceptable ?

I was thinking of getting some as I take part in Field Archery and was considering bringing this into the game...

What sort of poundage bow/crossbow would be deemed to be appropriate ?

In the caves the crossbow are about 5lbs to allow a bolt to fly a max of 20 feet
On overlands I use a bow with 30lbs, which is the max but care is taken not to pull to full extension if the target is closer than 30 feet

Hope this helps

So I noticed my non-standard balance was -1 and tried to buy a credit but worldpay stated there was an issue and the transaction failed. Any ideas how I settle up?
