Dear all,

Well what a day, mass killings, numerous plots foiled...but thats quite enough about our little group.

So this is my first attempt at a report, well more musings from what I can recall (sorry but I have the memory of a gold drave).

But myself and a group of friends, most of which I had known for almost a spells length before venturing to the troubled city of Port Miere on the request of the Inquisitional department to look at and attempt to deal with three (almost four) anomalies. I would list those that we managed to successfully sort out but that would make for pretty short reading. Instead - here are a list of the anomalies and what we managed to find out about them. This in itself wasn't too much as we were a small and compact group - most of the below comes from Kiwi talking to her dead friends.

#38 - Twin anomalies being housed within a single structure forming a set of warehouses by the docks.

Temporal Anomaly - The anchor for this was a place spirit. He was described to me as being a humanoid man made of driftwood, with a captain's coat. he was the place of an area where those lost at sea ended up. We were fully intending to have a discussion with him/it, and if went badly were going to assail furiously with an axe. I say this as someone not wishing to cast the first stone - but fortunately any such quandaries were removed from my path on a account of being dead when we encountered him. He was apparently very helpful and saved our little group when al were unconscious or worse - having come a good third or fourth best to some undead creatures.
* Status - still very much active.

Convergent Anomaly - The anchor for this was a sundrop.
* Status - still very much active.

#36 In a single structure close to the citadel itself. The Embassy of Secundal Keys.

Convergent Anomaly - The anchor here is the coral crown worn by the Ambassador of Secundal Keys.
To remove it needs to be destroyed or sundered in some way.

Guarded by Alfari and ritual warnings/defences of a green magic variety. There are many forms needed to gain access to/an audience with the Ambassador. We didn't get that far as were mostly (except for one) killed by his guards following what could be described as a minor error of judgement on one of the groups part (or more uncharitably by some - not myself - as a massive massive ill-conceived fluck up)

* Status - still very much active.

#31 Moored at one of the piers. The Mist Wraith (ship).

Convergent Anomaly. The anchor here is the ship itself. The ship is an undead ship, loyal to Kessleharn. It has sailed from the very Netherworld itself.
The presence of the ship itself at this place is causing the Anomaly. The ship had skeletal guards, the deckhands themselves and a Captain. The ship would through rites empower the crewman.

This needs to be dealt with. Suggestions at the time indicated our small group could either -

* Free a Paladin of Seval whose very touch could destroy creatures of undeath, being held captive on the vessel. (Obviously negotiating things that may try to stop us).

* Cast a Rite of the Bright God really really impressively and force the ship to sail off.

I'm sure some of the great friends I made this day will be able to fill in some of the gaps.

In essence it would probably have been a lot better to have sat in a tavern and burned through several divination scroll, but well you live (after being restored to to life) and learn right? Also we were at least consistent in our lack of achievements.

Regards and TTFN,

Aurous.
