Cave police spotted an error in the current Wizards Grimoire. At some point in the past melt got changed to say "Non-Spiritual object".
For clarity Melt does not work on any supernatural object, in the same way shatter doesn't. Le -------------------- Please send points apps to: pointsapp@labyrinthe.co.uk

MCC used to say the issue in type was because you could use melt to deal someone with a magic sword 6/6 damage if they didn’t fancy dropping it or hurt someone on plate, is this still the case or is a magic item now totally immune?!
Just totally immune now, because it is so much easier. Lee |

On the subject of melt does it work on apprentice items?
The way the rules are written it tends to suggest that apprentice protects against destructive effects (shatter, warp) whilst Journeyman protects against disabling effects (magnetise, vanish) I have hear from reliable sources that mend is special and needs journeyman to protect against it. What's the ruling on this? Trusty and old/apprentice protects against melt. Lee -------------------- "A soldier's first battlefield is always his own mind"
