No you smite Sinners, not evil. That's what the Church of Grace says anyway, or so I'm told.

No idea how to tell what's which is which, but I'm sure Malice priests are sinners so we can smite them.

No, Anarchus says you smite evil and bad men. And thats why Michael gave him a Holy Sword.

One day, I'll get a Holy Sword. I've been waiting 6 years now. It'll come soon.

Or, Border might send me one. I dont mind. ONe of them will send me one eventually i'm sure.

Ooh... maybe, in smiting Malice priests Talthar will send me one!

Or... I would get three! But I think Willum is getting stroppy at me now. (Thats the mace that sleeps under my pillow...he says its bad to be greedy)

Oh well. It should be fun, Argo we can sing about the Sea! Yay! Oh, and soblimiguarity too.

Hmm maybe the Church of Grace only smites Sinners, and the rest smite Evil.

And what's a soblimiguarity?

Oh, and Harpel says he found Malice priests near Alguz if anyone wants something to do on a quiet day...

Harpel and J did not have me with them did they. Not like you fine people.

If there is a way to kill them i will find it then use it, then make sure they are dead. Then you can tell everyone it can be done.

They make all the difference you know. You have to slay them while hopping on one foot shouting 'Branwen is the greatest Leyline ever', with a battlecry of "Yay!"

I'll be more than happy to shout out that battle-cry.
I'm not that good at spotting a disguised Malice priest, but I might be good at spotting the real tribesmen from the fake ones (assuming that they are real tribes-people who each have a totem, of course).
Where is it that we are supposed to be gathering together (or should I just follow Branwen, my former tutor and mentor)?

Skjaera.
(That's pronounced "shaara"!)

I don't really know anyone here, so I feel I ought ask before just turning up.

My name is Caerfloren and the powers the guild has taught me have proved very useful of late in the few mercenary expeditions I have undertaken, so thought I would come and try to prove useful in return. I don't do holy smiting though, but I do know a little earth magic from tending my master's garden and I'm not a bad scout.

Hope I can be of help to you mighty and famous people.

I'm sure that whatever aid you can bring will be both much appreciated and most helpful. Certainly you will be welcome beneath the Twisted Tree.

This is what I saw -
You see a small glade thick with trees and heavily woven walls of vines and brambles, within three large entish creatures sit and slumber, the forest peacefully resting blissful and at ease. The vision then blurs slightly and one rises, the walls of brambles and thorns parting as he poddles through the forest, he waves in a slow and gentle way at Rikki the Benificent as he leaves from the moot. He greets those of the Thrice, wishing them well on their journey back and imparting the blessings of the ancients of Trovil upon them, they turn and go their seperate ways, the ent side by side with the Benificent as they do. Bowing down he touches the beneficent upon the shoulder, and as he does ripples and changes, no more and ent but one of the tribal men who had just left. "No peace, only war", he whispers and plunges a knife deep into the heart of the ratfolk man, it's singing words of death and despair striking him down, upon the hilt of the blade, markings of the tribes of the thrice, upon the haft obvious bloodied prints of the tribal lord.

His form ripples again shimmering slightly, brown vines flecking down the face of a dark drowe like man that now stood where the tribal lord did, without doubt, The Hostile. He calls to some power, ripples and disappears, appearing again near the tribal lords as they march through the forest. Calling harsly to them they stop and he skulks towards them. "This is for what you did to Rikki he whispers" he says and with a word calls some dark power and the left and right fall to the floor, nothing but ash and dust, their souls screaming as shadows consume them. The third, that one who had appeared to kill Rikki, raised his axe but too slow, The Hostile speaking but one word "stop" and his arms cease and his body freezes still. "These are your memories of these times" says the Hostile and speaks of his desire to slay Rikki and his hatred of Trovil, his work for the Great Beast and the true nature of things. "Now go, you will remember nothing of me" and the figure shimmers, now no more the Hostile than a whisper of memory, and a feint fading ring of mist, that ripples and crumbles as the wind of war rushes through the trees.

One word whispers through your head... "She who is Discord"... and the twisted tree interposes itself.

You see further now, the future again perhaps and a tribal bondsman standing in a hillfort in Trovil, he welcomes his returning lord, who blood on hands and war in his heart, screams at the betrayal of Trovil and the death of the other lords, of his revenge upon The Benificent and the coming of darkness. He places his hand around the lord, speaking words of strength and comfort, of war, of standing and talking to his people, his people here and beyond. The scene shifts and the lord stands infront of a crowd of tribals, a crowd within this fort and then tribe upon tribe upon tribe through rippling mirrors of smoke that are hung like spider webs between the great trees at the corners of the fort. Through it, The Thrice, through it the tribes watch and wait. The lord speaks, of war upon Trovil, of their betrayal upon another great forest, another forest who came only for a moot of peace. He speaks and the tribes listen and their lust for war grows. Chanting now, rapturous the tribes as their lord of war stands before them, the loyal bondsman to his right hand side, revelling. The tribes now baying for war and blood the lord raises his voice high and yells loud the battle cry of his people, and as it's echoed in return the bondsman shifts, flickers and is nothing but the darkness of hostile nature, a whispering sliver of a blade scything through the neck of the lord as he yells, his cry gurgling to a gargled painful end. The Hostile smiles a dark, brooding smile of death... "yes my tribes, yes, this is indeed war", and cloaked in darkness he ripples and disappears.

Elsewhere two cowled and cloaked men stand, "it is done my lord", the one says, "his is dead and the tribes rise to war". "She blesses us this day with great discord my disciple, let us return now to where we are needed elsewhere", and the men fade, nothing remaining but broken rings of mist in the air.

The vision twists again and you see yourselves thinking, talking, diploming, it is tricky and hard sometimes, but press on you do, convincing and demonstrating until eventually there is enough suspision in the air. Two ents rise and turn on a third which you see others also fighting, as it's whispering blade falls hard - it then raises it's hands and disappears. The forest rises and words passes to beware of assassins, to beware of Broken Rings. You see also the hillfort and a shaman turning on one bondsman, of which there are many, demanding his oath, his blood once more. The bondsman refuses, arguing that he has already done such... and the shaman falls upon him and cudgelled clubs and flying bolts smash into his face. He seeks to raise his hands to flee but is crushed and falls, dead as a stone. His body paraded those of the Thrice knuckle down for a war, not with Trovil, but with others that would seek discord and demise.

There is a strong sense of finding the right people because they lie and decieve, which perhaps only those skilled would detect.

Further on and the Great Thrice stands, within it a small tribe - the name Cael'Morgh - a tribe, coming to mind - a small tribe of traitors, hidden away, biding their time. In their midst rituals and passages to wintery paths and a sense of great danger, but also of important knowledge and a need to stop something most cold and deadly from coming to pass. How such might be achieved is shrouded by towering trees and a veil of mist

I think she who is Discord is the Goddess of the church of Malice - good idea not to use her name.
I get a bit confused sometimes as to what has happened, what is happening and what will so if someone wants more findings about what we need to do then I'll try.

Since when do i get to make decisions?? Not sure i want that responsability!

It seems as though its a vision of the future if we don't stop there plan from being carried out. This seems maybe our first point to try and find out or act on.

Gives us a obvious starting point at least. Will be good to see you all again in the morning.
