A day late on the weekly update due to the bank holiday yesterday so will get straight to it:
Tuesday A max 1k Tuesday club tonight being reffed by Giles, continuing to round up the lost prisoners from the Halgar jail. Currently has an a-ref and 2 monsters for the 8 players, so room on both sides if you want to come join us for a single length and some pizza. Saturday Hopefully you all know we have the Labyrinthe open day and kit fair happening today! We will have traders down selling their goods, a tombola, lucky dip points apps and a bonus club supporter scheme for sale plus in the evening there will be a BBQ and drinks taking place up top. Free sausages and burgers will be provided but bring your own drink. During the day there are a number of single length taster dungeons happening alongside some normal dungeons. Keep an eye out for Duncan’s post this week with all the details. Sunday Forsaken Dominion Max 3k Lead up – The next instalment ready for the August 4-day being reffed by Sarah and Ian. Currently only 6 of the players booked and is in need of a monster or 2 to make sure it runs. There is space for other dungeons today as well. Further Ahead The Thursday dungeon this month is on the 24th, it currently has 5 players and 2 monsters booked but is in need of a ref to ensure that it can run. On the 29th May we have a bonus Tuesday Club as it is half term, currently has 6 players but this also needs a ref and some monsters. Rumours and Gossip Those that were down this weekend would have seen the outside walls of the new areas being built and would have got a glimpse of the size of the project. It is now all closed up to keep the area safe until the next building week happens as there is still lots to do. The plan is to have it ready for the final dawn at the end of the year. The re-wiring has been continuing as well, Tim has been busy fitting new lights and cable on the entrance way. They are on the opposite side and make the path look lot brighter and clearer! Last week I went and looked at a new overland site near Lingfield, which is off of Junction 6 of the M25. Is a good bit of woodland and open space and should give us another decent option for when the weather is nice. The first event taking place there is a tribal bash on the 16th June being reffed by myself. More details will come out nearer the time but all the crew spots are free if you want to come see the new site! -------------------- Rich

Duncan has posted the details on the announcement forum for Super Saturday this weekend, the dungeons are starting to fill up but to confirm what we have run when:
Taster Sessions - Designed for new people to try out the system, or for new players to try their hand at a different character. If you bring someone along with you then you can play with them as well, there are some spots for experienced players to play as well. Booked in are: 10am - Chris G reffing, full on crew 11am - Rob B reffing, full on crew 12pm - Gordon C reffing, needs an a-ref 1pm - Chris G reffing, full on crew 2pm - Rob B reffing, needs an a-ref 3pm - Gordon C reffing, needs an a-ref and monsters All sessions are different dungeons, so it is possible to play 3 different sections all day. All characters start at 8th, there will be plenty of people on hand with the books to help people battleboard. Max 5250 - A normal cave dungeon being reffed by Lee, it has 5 players booked and is already full on crew. Young Players - Running at 10.30am, 1.30pm and 3pm and being reffed by Rich E and Paul B, open to all young players, we would love to see some new faces if there is anyone you want to bring along. If you want to book on to more then 1 event during the day you will need to email Duncan on bookings@labyrinthe.co.uk for him to book you on to the 2nd/3rd event. We are hoping to see lots of new faces at the caves on Saturday so if you see anyone looking lost or confused it would be great if our club members could chat to them, help them out and generally be warm and welcoming! The traders will be open for business from 9am, some have come quite a way or is there first time here so it would be great if they have a good day of sales so they are keen to come back next year! I know a lot of people like having them at the caves rather then having to order online or travel to a field somewhere to buy kit. So bring your spending money and treat yourself to some new kit! The weather is looking all good for the evening BBQ, there is a private event happening in the function room under the cafe so there will be some muggle people about. We will likely move some benches around to ensure that we don't interfere with there evening, or them with ours. Is shaping up to be another good day for the club. -------------------- Rich

Having updated bookings on the system, I thought people may like an update on single length availability.
10am 1 player space left 11am 8 player spaces left 12pm 6 player spaces left 1pm Full 2pm 6 player spaces left 3pm 2 player spaces left, 1 a-ref space, 2 monster spaces left. Given these are popular on both sides I am going to open a 4th monster space on each if anyone wants to get involved. rgds Duncan |
