I'm first class duellist, I've entered the wizard bracket

has anyone had any success cutting through weapon master abilities? I am a weapon master, I was thinking of stacking two bedazzles but if it's just a no no I'll not bother even trying.

I believe harley has done it but he's bracket pure

Weapon Master is a collection of abilities, what exactly do you mean by "Cut through"?

Weapon Masters are themselves about cutting through opponents damage reductions.

Assumeing you are talking about weapon masters being able to use weapon masteries and cutting through your beddazle. Your best bet is probably a different spell if your beddazle isn't working. It's unlikely you will get my beddazle works but not impossible.

Maybe something like 12 points off instead.

yeah sorry I wasn't clear

was hoping to stop their weapon masteries from working on me by being able to use my bedazzles on them somehow

The problem is this:

Traditionally, in Laby, Defence (& Immunities / Resistances) > Offence

It might seem counter-intuitive but Bedazzle is an Offensive spell (it directly attacks your opponent's sight)

Immunity to Bedazzle is a Defensive ability

GSMs have always been reluctant to overturn that applecart (for very good reason if you think it through).

So what you need is a defensive spell or ability to replace Bedazzle.

You might get a "If My Bedazzle does not work I get X defence instead" where X is a weaker defence but better than nothing.

As an aside you might want to try for Damage Grades above the first grade count as Weapon Masteries for the purpose of Bedazzle Vs Elementals (because typically their damage is given to be all base damage and neither Strength or Masteries unless especially statted that way by a ref)

As my Kensai I have post weapon master that my Contra Masteries can't be cut through, but haven't got bedazzles so haven't worried about that side of things.
