As people will have seen the waiting time for rebirths has been removed. Since this has happened I thought it was time to put everything up so it’s official.
Rebirths Rebirths will be processed as quickly as we can. In general assume 2 weeks as that’s not an unreasonable turn around. This will be delayed if the ref takes time sending bits in, or if it’s a very big rebirth as it needs time to work stuff out. ISP for rebirths is calculated as 10isp per full thousand points a character is post 8th until they reach 10,000 points. Characters over 10,000 points gain an additional 10isp per full 5000 points they are. The Crypt CP offers a bonus as published. If an Obituary is written, and submitted for publishing in the Almanac, then this will add 10isp to the rebirth. This should be emailed to lee@labyrinthe.co.uk. The intention to write an obituary needs to be emailed within a couple of days and the obituary itself within a week of the death. A character cannot have a rebirth of more than 150isp. It is permissible for a player to say the theme they would like their rebirth to be, it is not acceptable to ask for specific stats. If a character does not have rebirth then they cannot gain a rebirth, perm death is just that perm death. Reincarnations The active choice to rebirth a character without perm dying on dungeon. When reincarnating you are effectively trading in a current character and getting a new one. The new character does not retain the old characters memories, and all of the old characters equipment must be handed in at the desk. There are three types of reincarnation. As a new standard character – If you chose to reincarnate as a new published character class/race combination then you return at a percentage of your points listed below. This can be dealt with at the desk, by desk staff. The characters card and equipment must be handed in. Current Points % of current points returned at Below 1000 points 10% 1001-2999 30% 3000-5249 40% 5250-7499 50% 7500+ 60% As a non-standard class/race combination – This is choosing to reincarnate as a non-standard class/race combination. This should be dealt with via a points request. Once processed the new card can be issued by the Desk with the player handing in their old card and equipment. The characters returns at a new points as follows: Current Points % of current points returned at Below 1000 points Cannot be done 1001-2999 20% 3000-5249 30% 5250-7499 40% 7500+ 50% As a rebirth – This method is again dealt with by points app. The player should submit a rough idea of what they want their new character to be like. They will generally receive approximately 75% of the ISP they would receive if they died on dungeon, and do not gain the benefits of a crypt or obituary. Once the ability is processed the player can hand the character and equipment into the desk and the card will be processed. Characters using this return at: Current Points % of current points returned at Below 1000 points Cannot be done 1001-2999 0% 3000-5249 10% 5250-7499 20% 7500+ 30% It is, when using any method of reincarnation, possible to choose to return at a lower numbers of points than they can be (the same is true for rebirths). It is not possible to reincarnate and merge multiple characters into one. One rebirth/reincarnation per character. Lee -------------------- Please send points apps to: pointsapp@labyrinthe.co.uk

So they are not monsters on open 250, for example Druid fighter As 1st class Druid and gains a level of warrior per table reached between table 3 and 10. Regards Duncan |
