Is the cost really £70, seems a bit steep or is it an extended length or something?

Is the cost really £70, seems a bit steep or is it an extended length or something? It’s a triple length, so max of 165 character pts, increased ISP and most importantly a long, massive and full on day. And tbh a hell of a lot of businesses including mine are having to put a sizeable surcharge onto recovering / surviving this hellish economic hit so think we are very lucky the price still so very reasonable! You should read it properly, before writing a passive aggressive post like the above. Just looks like you’re trying to cause trouble. I’m very excited, very much looking forward to seeing everyone and hope it all goes ahead. Given the situation, I don’t mind the extra tenner. If it’s an issue for you, the crew rewards are incredible. Well done to Lee, Duncan and everybody involved for all their work. I for one can’t wait to get back to the hobby. Thanks Carlo |

Thanks Carlo Please dont think it was a criticism, I have booked on to play, it just seemed like a big hike in price, and Carlo please link the post that you say I should read, I booked on from a whatsap post rather than a news thread from here. To help the club I am monstering on the 2nd and also have offered to monster the goth 4 day, so think I am doing my bit, please also remember that many people in the club may be self employed with no way of gaining income, including myself |

I’d have assumed you would have read that before commenting on how steep the cost was. It’s just a tenner more than a triple length and it’s a big event with lots going on and something happening in the car park after. Not digging at you about helping the club at all. I was only saying that if cost was an issue there’s a good reward scheme. Which is great because even if some of us have been hit hard financially, we can still be involved. No hard feelings. Just don’t start discussions in such a negative tone. See you on the Themeday! Carlo |

Jon, Its all here (Duncan's last post): http://www.labyrinthe.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=38331 Basically its a Triple length, the extra tenner is for the likely evening event. Its normally £63 for a triple length (including glow stick tax), so its an extra £7. Carlo's mathematical skills are about as good as my screen-shotting ability.
Looking at the booking sheets, it would seem that player numbers have been reduced, whilst crew numbers have been kept the same. Maybe the extra £7 is to go towards the the loss of income if player numbers were the same as usual? Perhaps its just an increase to allow for inflation since the last price increase. I don't think adventure prices have gone up by quite a few years? Or it could be going toward an after themeday event at the caves which Duncan hinted may happen in the original post. Whatever it is, i guess it can't be overpriced as all the spaces have gone. Chris |

I imagine even with a go ahead, you will still have distance as much as possible so less people per section.

I believe its £20 and £1.50 'glowstick tax per section! So it's only £5.50 "extra" anyway!
It's probably about time the price just went up to £25 per section anyway. And this is coming from a "cash poor" person. 🤗🤔 |

OK its a triple length no a normal double at £40 now I understand. I can see the confusion if you had not seen the post £40 jumping to £70 might have been a bit steep. Triple length and a surprise evening event seems like good value all things considered. -------------------- Richard Eden (Possibly human maybe a vampire)
