As per the title really. I can't see anything in the real of glass that seems to indicate they can't multi-race, but it doesn't feel right that they can and still stay as a noble of the blood. If they were to multi-race would they stay as a true noble of the blood, I can understand the keeping of abilities as they were born a noble, but would they actually be one? Would they breed true etc?

If they can, are they limited? Surely going ice giant or Elder fay makes no sense as they are from the description simply manifesting an ancestral quality. Which doesn't really work for the "pure blooded" nobles, who can trace mother and father back to the very beginning of nobility as human.

Primal Soul human makes a lot of sense - you are "more" human than most

I think a lot of people go for 'super human' type multi race's, I have one called blue blooded aristocrat which is all about being better than a normal person.

I went Undead,

You could go Elder Fey and claim it is your Ritual Blood rather than your Fey Heritage powering you? Even Northern Man you could say was a ritual empowerment to make you massively powerful and resistant to Magic... It's all about looking at the Races and then wondering how else your character could justify that skill set and stick with the roleplay etc.

Taking standard MR's with this in mind means you get real scope to tailor 7 and 8 away from the 1-6 versions but what you want from them too.

Mine was a variant on elder fey with noble blood uses (to put on weapons) but using the elder fey abilities and theming it around being abandoned in a forest to die but actually surviving and coming back to haunt my family.

Almost all the published MRs can be justified in other ways
Big Lad
Ritual issues
Backlash
Lived in a woods etc

Apart from Full Elf & Child of the Pines

No amount of explanation could ever "justify" these...

Sell your soul...

Write a MR about having sold your soul for power, or used it in a ritual to fuel it.

Right, done a first draft, concerns are around levels of power, but for the most part tried to stick to published abilities.

How does the following sound:
Primal Soul [Sallow Ritual]

1. +6 Casting Stamina per level stackable with all other casting stamina. Must always proudly display Sallow heritage, ie. May never use a disguise or hide his status as a Noble of the Blood.
May begin to purchase on table 1

2. Now has half-spirit, as half-elf.

3. Gains rebirth at 8th level (must have already bought Rebirth)

4. May now Rebirth at 8th keeping 1/3 of original points – must purchase Primal Soul “Sallow Soul” on rebirthing (may begin to purchase on table 1 item points may be used as normal but class must have buy as 1st Class Wizard)

5. Immune to all flesh and blood effects bar those relating to blood.

6. Now has no spirit. Mojo-Rein’s very essence is that of his sallow blood which keeps him held together. Should he ever be away from primus for more than 30 days he will morph into a peon of the local plan and be considered to have died perm.

Post-6th: May buy one Minor Power from Primal Soul for ____ pts, one Medium Power for ____ pts and one Major Power for ____ pts. Unlike normal Primal Soul powers may purchase each of the above from the Primal Bound, Predator and Prey options, though no more than 1 from each type.

Seems fine at a glance although I don't see the link between this and the primal soul "arbitrary animal men" concept.
Buying animal abilities post 6th doesn't quite gel with the rest without a strong description of exactly what this ritual of yours is.

I dont see why its a primal soul, beyond the fact you want it on table 1. Seems more like a high elf varient - if anything - to me.

I'm going to have to run a cmpaign based on the fact that in the last year there's been a plague of primal souls and elder fey in the less experienced mercenary community. Possibly involving a pink demon with an effect that prohibits original thought which can be resisted with an ability on table 8.
