Hi all,

My name's Seb, I used to play in Young Players, and then for a year or two in the adults a good 6+ years ago. Some of you may remember me (although at the time I was minuscule, squeaky and had quite an over inflated sense of self-importance), I never wanted to stop playing, but life swept me away in that manner it tends to.

A couple of my Labby-alum friends (Alex and Joe) and I are hoping to make a return sometime in the hopefully not too distant future, if our respective courses ever decide to give us some time off. In particular because I mentioned LARPing to the head of movement at my drama school and she insisted that I come back and revitalise this as a hobby.

As I understand it, a fair number of the books will have changed and been updated since I last attended (probably all of them), and we were wondering if, aside from the handbook, there was any kind of digital resource for the new books we could pore over for ridiculous hours before attending (character building was always one of my favourite parts)? I've had a look at the website but can't find anything, although I may just be being an idiot.

Thanks so much in advance, cannot wait to venture back into the caves after too long an absence!

Cheers,

Seb

Hey!

Sadly no sad.gif

Any chance of you popping down to take a look/buy the ones you need? Best way smile.gif

If you still have the old ones, they should still do you fine for getting back into things!

Cheers Will,

Suppose I'll have to find time to have a run down the caves and pick them up, how much do they go for these days?

There's actually a more than decent amount in the handbook, can I just confirm, do characters still start at 4th?

As far as I remember you can use credits to pay for them too. You get £12 credits for a full day monstering. That’s 2 books for a day of fun and getting back into the swing of things. Do you know if you have any credits from when you used to play?

If you can, come down on 12th May for the ‘Big Day at The Caves’ event. It will be a great day with loads going on

I don't know if I have my old cards (I practically only monstered through my time in adults, so I think I have quite a hefty number of credits if that'll still be on record anywhere?)

I'll try to, term will be on by then and there's a good chance I'll be too busy trying not to hit anyone with a metal sword as opposed to trying to hit people with a latex one. Will definitely try to if it's at all possible.
