Rite of a 1000 Faces Options

After our successes yesterday and the slightly odd scrying we received, I was wondering if Waldo or Valda (or anyone else possessed of such knowledge)
might be able to tell us a little more about the Rite of One Thousand Faces -
- Namely how does it ward scrying (does it do that?)
- Can it, given its name, change someone's appearance?
I'm just worried that the Curse is still there (it hasn't gone with Ethan's death)
and I'm worried that given its name - was it Ethan we slew?
There was no sign of the Sister's Staff or the Crown of the Damned. The Curse is still there, whilst it hasn't grown in power it hasn't faded either.

Does anyone know how to cleanse a ritual from a subject? I'm just wondering if it wasn't Ethan we slew, if it was possible to remove ritual from someone - were that to be done on Ethan's head we might get an idea if that was someone else?
