Following the previous attack, the faith of St Michael was rebuilding, showing due respect and care for the ways of the land they had entered, emboldened perhaps by the gradual strengthening of Primus around them and a reassurance that they could practice more openly.
It was then doubly tragic that amongst this setting of cautious hope that tragedy struck once more. As if from nowhere, in the late spring, the same demonic forms sprung up as if from nowhere, attacking and savaging the followers of the faith where ever they could be found. Fledgling priests in simply built chapels were found to now be decorating the shrines with their blood, and their bodies displayed as a warning for all to see. No doubt the faith would rebuild again, but this ongoing slaughter was a hard burden to bear, sudden and vicious as it was, over before it could really begin. -------------------- Will Power - will@labyrinthe.co.uk
