A Heated Debate, Halgar Options

The annual junior Enclave, Bronze initiate title holders debate competition was well underway, under the shadows of the Towers of High Magery. The topic this year? How does one manage the rise and fall of Dragons?

Unfortunately, things hadn't gone quite according to plan. The candidate for the Bronze Drake had been laughed out of the competition for suggesting more effort should be put into an even rise in power to balance magic in Primus. Everyone thought that the candidate for the Ebony Great Dragon hadn't shown up before the timely use of the True Sight spell revealed that they were in fact posing as the candidate for the Ivory Dragon, and deliberately throwing the debate. The location of the actual candidate remains unknown.

Green and Red, Black and White and Brown and Blue had descended into a literal fist fight as the thrust of each of their debates was that clearly the best way to manage was to make sure their particular dragon was elevated above the rest.

The Twilight candidate sort of.... just carried on arguing with themselves whilst chaos reigned all around, and the Gold candidate was seen searching desperately for Ivory.

Jade and Onyx stood at either side of the arena scowling at the other, refusing to even engage in a debate with the other.

All told, though not much new understanding came out of it, the spectacle proved to be a decent afternoon's entertainment for the audience.
