Is it somehow possible/permitted to points app some way to regain lost vitae? Are there any examples of how one could do so if possible?

Yes it is possible, with good reasoning.

It's not cheap though...

edit:

I meant to add that I've got 10% a year regeneration passed at level 6 of a Multirace, and 40% at 8th. The multirace had some non-vitae regen in it, some other vitae related abilities and started off using a rebirth as a base.

I think there's a few people with regen vitae based on being a god, and a few with it based on being trolls with loads of regen bits.

I got passed in September last year regen 10% a year on the first day of Winter in the 8th level of a M/R for a T:12 for what is in truth a High Winter Elf. However level 7 & 8 cost 1610pts alone

Not to mention I was down to 5% res chance and I think MCC passed it becasue he thought I'd never earn the points to buy it.

Dont expect to get it easily. There are only a handful of people who can do it, and for specific reasons as well

Tiffers MR is extremely character specific, based upon a very specific rebirth and the circumstances (happenstances schnarf sncharf) of the rebirth

I had for Rivan regen back 10% res chance every Festival of Fish held. It was level 6 of a multirace.

Again it was a very specific points app for the character based on background history etc.

but then again he also heals 60/60 every 5 minutes lol

Well, as the originator of the idea for Regen Res Chance (I wrote it for someone a long long time ago) I later stole it with some heavy restrictions for my demigod monk.

Funnily enough I kept meaning to write the pts apps for years so missed out on a fair bit of res chance. He regens 10% at the dawn of his Winter Holy Day each year (preuly by fluke I bought the ability corresponding to the date). Still I was the first person to buy it and a quick bit of mental arithemetic tells me that he's regen'd in the region of 100% now.

Martin Mann as Gysmo has an ability whereby he can lose X number of points to regain 10% mostly moot as he's not played the character in a very long time and has no intention of ever playing him again.

Not no intension but it will certainly be the exception not being able to leave Scarlene and all (and Mo is much more fun ;p). Oh the retired life for me :-)

Yep mine is obscurely 250 pts unspent / lost for +10% though he does also have the abilty to res someone using his own res chance.
