Half a Spirit due to being a High Elf but no need to wear heavy armour, so can nimbly run around the place whacking 7 shades outta everything Pinging Arrows as stuffs coming towards etc I like the concept but the spend is flawed - mainly its a metal allowance issue over swords /arrows etc no immunities or resistances at all is very risky as a warrior type - 1/2spirit will get you somewhere but not everywhere. Quin with a bow isn't probably worth the agro - at 3k its got to be more than the assassins/ warrior so your looking at 9/10 elf warrior> archer > wardancer is good as elven warriors can't usually afford to get hit too much i'd be tempted by primal soul over high elf mcc |

Ok... My turn (and is vague since my books are at home...) And I chose Ranger to annoy David.
So, a NN, Alfar Ranger/Archer/Powerhouse, Knight of the Land... 110/36 Life. Armour PAC - 5 Elder Fey DAC - 2 Alfar DAC 1 Knights - DAC 1 Knights Legend - DAC 2 Turtle Talisman - PAC 1 Doing Seven with a Bow, Quad in E class broadswords,. Some spirit Invises, 6 jumps for get outs. A bundle of useful druidic innates, including 5 24/24 cures for self. Some barkskins for some ninja 2 point damage reductions (and when innate pac is useful) Some trips/slow poisons since they are good for the points Wanderers Hunch, cos, well... duh. and 1/2 Black and red, to go in combo with 25% off pure mantic, and 1/2 spirit. All the character needs is a s/n weapon and hes away! Most 'interesting charactyers' involve some sort of multiple powerbases, but i think, as far as a bracket pure character goes, this is quite interesting. Be in KoTL for Quad and Max AC increases and off you go... I reckon I am now 4k though :s |

Power warrior gone second colour ivory.
This means you can buy extra innates of ivory warrior for 40pts and specialisation reduces this to 20 [or at least this was how it was in the green post 8th book, not sure if it's changed.] C |

A pretty basic one, and one I may or may not be starting up soon...
Base Class Thug, either Human or Orc Tendancy - Bully Boy M/c Warrior M/r Shadow Daimon Solid life (103/33 at 2.5k) AC 12 9pts combat wary '8' from behind 1st blow, quad from the front 6 Mantic Darkness 4 Mantic Shadowblades 3 Shadow shifts Basically, a solid 'dirty fighter' who can take a face to face beating, but who can use the darkness, shifts and mantic damage to a combat advantage. All this with 500pts left for an additional M/C - black Stealthmage if 6 mantic darknesses are just not enough... Or Spy, and then go fully active with a bunch more scout skills. Dave M |

Well I finished my first one, now thinking about
1/2 Gold Drave Assassin MR North Man (Frost Giant) - 1/2 spirit & 1/2 effect magic and MAC from Shield Innates - possibly going Spirit Warrior - not sure Embody Abishai is worth 400 pts but Spirit Invis even off scrolls may be. concept is the essence of one of the Laiu Giants (1st age) frozen in the north partially melts and comes to punish the decadence of 3rd Age living/civilisation. Race: 1/2 Dark Elf M/R to Frost Giant -Northman (got bored of seeing elder fay all the time) Class: 1st Class Warrior MC : Para - Psychic Warrior Spec ---- 6th 6/2 STA , 7th DAC 1 , 8th +1 WM of Choice prob "O" class, as this needs to be a Sword and Shield type warrior. Guild: Basics . Frontline , Companions. Frontline (Warcry, 3/1 Life, +1 DAC) Companions (Fireblade Item, so you can deal Magic DMG) Was thinking Lawful Neutral for easy res's Life: 111/55 (think I worked it out right) not sure how the noble stamina's work with dwarf loc's BASE 78/39 + 30/15 STA + 3/1 Guild = 111/55 AC 12 (PAC 7 Armour + DAC 5) +2 Strength for moving things about. Notes and Innates etc 2 Shadow Shifts (get outs) 8 Affirms (for the MAC) 4 Darkness Ranged (and see thru Darkness , from Frost-Giant, woo we can play murder in dark) 3 Neural Foci to help with the fully active neuronics (more get out and fly and talk to stuff) 22 Neuro Pens , 3 Flash, 3 Telekinesis, 2 Flare, 2 Blasts, and 2 always fun Neuroic Whips. lots of mind blowing action and neuro pens are 1 TBLP a go. 1/2 effect Spirit and Magic, Res TOD, Immunity Cold. Spend as follows. Fully Active - (550) Auric Colour - at Will 50 10 Neuro Pens - 150 Neuro Balance - at Will 100 Artefact Study - at will 100 Neuro Mastry - at Will 150 M/R Frost Giant 6th - 950 M/C Para - Psychic 6th - 695 Defence A/C Section = 210 +2 DAC - 40 +3 DAC - 45 +4 DAC - 50 +1 MAX AC - 20 +2 MAX AC - 40 +1 MAX AC in Mastercrafted - 15 Life Section = 225 12/4 - 45 18/6 - 50 24/8 - 55 3 Noble Sta - 75 Dmg , Utility , Other = 349 +1 Strength - 70 - Total +2 Strength as you get a stacking grade from MR +2 WM in chosen - 55 Resistance to TOD/SUS - 50 3 Neural Foci - 94 Half Elf > Full Elven Innates - 80 550+695+950+210+225+349 = 2979 21 left to spend/save as you want. It lacks some DMG reductions, but as you are using a sword and shield it should not be too much of a issue , and you have solid life , and get outs and utility. No dark elf's cannot, But Half Elfs can above character is a Half Dark Elf (brought elven innates)
also mark can you confirm, as per oraculum insight you need to be a neuronic class or race or dabbler to buy neural foci? I cannot find any other standard way. -------------------- For those that remember I be known as Graham Ford (Silver-Ford)
