The black lightning crackled around the dark stone box, a far off screaming echoing around the chamber, both distant and but a breath away at the same time.

Dark robed figures chanted and passed various artefacts and trinkets between them, draining their power one by one to feed the box.

Blood from nowhere oozed from the ceiling, covering the ground in a sticky blackened ichor that steamed ever so gently.

The rituals continued into the night...
