Tulmen Stone is the sort of village where nothing much happens. Nice people, in a nice valley within the Heartlands, leading nice enough lives tilling the soil and plying a trade.
That peace was shattered this very night. Poor Pippin Cooper was up late doing the accounts for his small business, and never made it to bed. His wife and elderly mother-in-law came down in the morning to a scene of carnage and devastation. Something clawed had made short work of Pippin, and his blood was sprayed about the place. Despite the silverware, candlesticks and other valuables on show within the home, just one thing was taken… a black pearl that Pippin used to wear as a pendant around his neck. The never-still curtains of the village were no longer twitching; they danced back and forth as roving eyes sought early sight of the murderer, should he… or it… return. -------------------- Will Power - will@labyrinthe.co.uk

The curtains of Tulmen Stone have become still(er). Never still, for the village gossips will never quite still their tongues, and the evidence of rumour is always needed. And much as the austere figures of the village elders have sought to still discussion of scandal, news slowly seeps out.
They said it was a were-dragon! My goodness: did they catch it? Of course not. But it is gone, they say. Something about drowe, undead, and a ritual with the stolen black pearl, seeking to steal power towards some new dragon of obsidian. Drowe!!! Undead!!!! and what on earth is this Obsidian Dragon!?!?! I know. Mad isn't it? But Obsidian Dragon...Dunno... but they said it had three natures. Sounds wicked to me. Wicked maybe. But no longer near Tulmen Stone. Yes. And thank goodness we've now restored order to the Ossuary, and blocked up those hidden passages beyond. Yes. Life can get back to normal. Thank goodness.... more tea? -------------------- Will Power - will@labyrinthe.co.uk
