I know that Inquisitor Wilton likes a bit of notice about what we're going to look at next, so started having a bit of a think about that.
Clearly this is all dependent on none of the anomalies deteriorating, or the situation in the city otherwise changing. It may also be that further communication from our mystery note-writer changes things. However, absent all of that, it looks like the remaining anomalies fall neatly into two groups - those linked to the Citadel (anomalies 2 - 12), which amongst other things contains the reflection of Salas' ritual chamber (anomaly 2), and those that are not. Unless scrying or compelling argument suggests otherwise, I think we should leave the Citadel alone unless we are sure we can capture Louhi in the process, as he is (according to Achramas) the anchor for Salas' ritual chamber. The situation with the anomalies in the Citadel has remained stable since the Dawn and I am reluctant to interfere with it, knowing that we cannot resolve all of them. That leaves the non-Citadel anomalies : - Anomaly #13 Location: Shrine of the Netter Nature: Secundal Reflection Notes: Although it is possible to identify the nature of this anomaly, no further information can be gleaned; any attempt to investigate it further shows only the rippling form of a net. Anomaly #14 Location: The Lighthouse Nature: Mittlenacht Phenomena Notes: Given the Port Miere Lighthouse’s significance in guiding people to and from the city regardless of its location, it is believed that the anomaly located here relates to the effect the city’s divergence had upon its previous function. Anomaly #17 Location: Reaver Ship Nature: Unknown Notes: It is impossible to discern any information from this anomaly via the map, beyond that it is located within one of the ships known to belong to the Reaver Lord’s Chosen. Anomaly #24 Location: Docks, Warehouse Nature: Planar Weakness Notes: It is believed that a portal or some other form of tear in reality has occurred within this location. This warehouse is notable for its being adjacent to one of the city's stone horns. Anomaly #25 Location: The Slums Nature: Temporal Convergence Notes: This anomaly is located a small number of streets from Anomaly #1, but does not appear to be identical. As mentioned previously, we may also want to leave the Shrine of the Netter until we have resolved the ritual chamber so that removing the net on the city does not release any harmful power from the Rite of the Ocean's Claim caught in it. Of the other anomalies, we know nothing about the Chosen's ship. It would be sensible to ask Achramas about this - she has studied the map so must be aware there is something there, but hasn't commented on it, which is interesting - unfortunately we were focusing on other things when we last met her. My recommendations would therefore be speaking to Achramas about the ship, and depending on what she says dealing with that and the Lighthouse, as well as the other two anomalies (24 & 25). Perhaps Inquisitor Wilton can offer her view. Any other thoughts? Liara |

I require confirmation of your plans within the next 24 hours so that I can file the appropriate paperwork. If no further discussion is forthcoming I will work on the assumption that you wish to locate and speak with Chosen Achramas, then visit anomalies 14, 17, 24 and 25.

Whilst I do think that my life would go much better if people just accepted that what I said was sensible and did that, I'd still like it if anyone else has had any thoughts about this. Also, that way we can share the blame if it turns out to be a disaster.

While I would like to go to the Shrine of the Netter to investigate what has happened there and how it affects the net over the city I think leaving this is the right choice. The above choices seem to make good sense to me.

I am happy with what you have suggested Liara - you have good knowledge of the situation and what you have said makes perfect sense. I wouldnt want to disturb the net until the ritual has been dealt with, no need risking danger to others when we already know the outcome. I am not overly familiar with these anomalies, what can we expect to find or is it a top dipping moment?

I am able to come and help with these matters. Can I second Lord Rufus' request and ask what you have found out about these matters?

Rufus, Isaac
All the information we've found out (that I know about) is in the lengthy reports I've written, and the lists of anomalies prepared by Inquisitor Wilton. There are copies in these chambers. Regarding the anomalies for Starsday specifically, all we know is in Inquisitor Wilton's list, which I've speculated but not scried about. My summary is the missive to which you were replying. That's all we have. Toes are indeed going to be dipped, and risks will be taken for biscuits. Liara |
