My Lords, Ladys and honoured guests.
I expect by now you have heard the reports of what transpired at the seppuku ritual of the samurai Lou Ting. The word 'oni' has been on many lips of those who were present. This could be fear or our eternal enemy or simple conjecture as his eyes apparently turned red when he rose up either way I now believe it is serious enough in nature to warrant the councils attention. As always, I humbly offer my services to my Lord Naga or any other Lord who require it. Your servent. - Masayoshi Chu. |

Yes the report hit my desk this morning
I have setup a blinkered eye in these chambers so we can discuss this matter in private. I feel there are a few issues currently facing our lands , The blood rage of this Samurai The Black Wolf Also the sword I got is not A drop in the Ocean it is far more dangerous, as the dragon seemed to have switched all the artefacts in his chambers around. I now carry the sword called 'Shadowed Death Dealer' which is the twin of A drop in the ocean . I would like at some point to potentially go back to the mountain to get the Twin so I can be at balance once more. Lord Naga |

With every death there is a new life
With every new life there must be a death. Balance is restored. I am sorry for the village, far too much death. We can not all be as lucky as I. I offer my services to anyone who needs them. Baransu -------------------- Kat

*** its possible on hearing that name over the years you have heard rumours, maybe even a fairy tale as a child***
Shadowed death dealer, a blade forged in hell at the beggining of time, the long lost weapon of the enemy. The blade that legend says will at the end of time destroy the land of Amlas..... if it even exists has never been proven |

My Lord.
You are most wise but I council that we destroy that blade, if the twin of it must be destroyed so be it. I have read several prophecies and storys of it and each one spells the end to our lands and civilisation. The samurai rage is a worry, one that feeds the black wolf too. If our samurai cannot control themselves then why should the lower casts respect their rule? I feel we must also be harder on any of the black wolf we find, siting them as simply small minded leads to more circles of low thinking. Im afraid a display of zero tolorance must be employed in dealing with them. Returning to the matter of the samurai rage, what if this is a subtle invasion of the endless enemy? What if oni are creeping into the minds of those we trust? How long before they creep higher? |

Yes that would be my concern with the blade that it is fated to destroy our lands and i believe we would need to balance the two blades to become one so that the new blade would become a blade of balance to defend the land.
I have already instructed someone i trust that if I have fallen and turning on the wheel to recover the blade from me. The Blood rage I cannot remember when it effected out lands but it was some time ago, If we could find out when it started then that can be used a starting point for investigation. The Black wolf are still a problem, while I agree that a zero tolerance policy is the best we need to mindful that by killing her followers we are making her stronger and in turn making them spread. It is as if we are feeding the fire by adding more wood to it . Many have come to the wall to fight but many are ignoring the actual teachings and distorting them. Naga |

Naga Then it is time to make plans for cutting the head off this problem. Her followers are being misguided and are damaging the land and staining their own souls. |

This is the issue and I do not have a solution that does not involve walking up to her temple and summoning her and then beating her to death .
We killed one high priest here but there are always more some said that boats have been sent west , I fear that untill the religion becomes a issue in the west we will not get a resloution in our own lands. If you have any suggestions then please suggest them , we have tried offering them to fight on the wall , we have tried killing any we meet and also setting up a Dojo and giving them lands. Naga |

What is wrong with your first suggestion?
With a united force of the clans we could destroy her no? |

Her temple is in the Dales in the West and there is a issue with just walking in and killing a God and her followers. I have things in motion but it all takes time to do it via the correct channels and as they are not causing a issues in the west then it is not a sample as killing a evil god. While the God is not a officially sanctioned religion it seems to have support within political circles.

Hello young ones, this discussion reminds me of a tale from my time:
~Once, State of Zhao was going to war with State of Yan. Envoy Su Dai visited King Hui of Zhao on behalf of Yan. He said, “Today, on my way here, passing the Yi River, I saw a clam was sitting out in the sun when suddenly a snipe flew down to peck at the clam. Suddenly the clam slammed the shell shut, gripping the snipe’s beak in between. “The snipe said, ‘If it doesn’t rain today, and it doesn’t rain tomorrow, I shall see a dead clam on the beach.’ “The clam said, ‘If I don’t open today, and I don’t open up tomorrow, I shall see a dead snipe on the beach.’ “While they were still grappling with each other, a fisherman passed by and netted them both. “Now Zhao will attack Yan; if we go into a long-term stalemate, people in our two states will get exhausted. I am worried that the powerful State of Qin will become the unearned fisherman. “I hope Your Majesty to seriously reconsider the war with Yan.” The King Hui of Zhao replied: “I think you are absolutely right.” So He abandoned the plan to invade the State of Yan.~ I hope all of you young people are enjoying the day Sueing Lo Ancestor of the Crane -------------------- Jules

Sound advice, no struggle thus no power.
The key is to teach all that living with their lords protection and there obedience to the lord law is not oppression, but the thing that stops the world from falling into mist. Then the peons will see there is no reason to act stupidly. I Believe both blades must be destroyed or Lost for all time. No more, no less. Mass rituals can do such I read read in stories, we must place it somewhere so remote and impossible to get to/ or destroyed utterly and then have all knowledge of it place removed from ourselves.

Ningyou Dansu Lord of the Crane I agree and this is the method we have been using but Sorcha sees our very way of life oppressive and the teaching that are being taught are already corrupted beyond her original teaching Naga |

Ningyou Dansu Yes we need to see what options we have with the swords , we need to find the other and then work out if they can be destroyed , the strength required to wield this sword is itself a burden to those that don't want it for personal gain and it has already attempted to corrupt and destroy me. I still believe that the swords should be combined to make a balanced blade that can guard our lands wielded by the clans of the council to defend Amlas. Naga |

I propose that we commission Noh and Kyōgen plays to educate them of the folly of listening to this dangerous message.
