Mulch has been to Deci and met those of House Vent'lan there. All Dark Alfar like Mulch was in life. They have rites and rituals that make the world strong and nature powerful beneath the city above. Mulch has spoken to the Brochan and will be helping them if Mulch can. Mulch thinks that some parts of the city above are horrible places and would be much better if they were a twisting forest of dark trees, crystaline pupa, spider webs and houses hung in the branches and wound between the trees. Mulch thinks this is very unlikely to happen but that it would definitely be good for the city if we could use the upwelling of natural power beneath the city and at least allow it to cleanse the city above. The land in the city itself is weak and dieing and needs help to be made strong and healthy once more. Hopefully those of Mulch's kin in House Vent'lan will help.

I was thinking much the same thing, Mulch. The city above is currently a poor, sickly place, dead and stripped of life. House Vent'lan has done some excellent work in drawing some strength to the place try to bring some life back, and has the support of one of the drowe houses too.
If the caverns beneath the city are strengthened then perhaps some life can be returned to the city above them too. Riff |

I also would like to help this Conclave continue their work - I intend to discuss such matters with House Vent'lan and see if/how we can work with them to continue to build on their rites for a strong, powerful natural power in the area.

A quick bit of further research has suggested this will be extremely difficult. Deci above is a dead place for a reason. Bringing in more natural power would not change that. As Aerlisseroth says, perhaps best simply to support the Conclave beneath for the moment rather than getting distracted.

If it is dead for a reason, what is that reason? Reasons can usually be removed, changed or dealt with.
