A huge amazing big thank you to everyone that made the 3 day gone so massively epic.

- Great relaxed yet on the ball ref team
- Amazing, relentless crew
- Chilled awesome party
- Incredible, plentiful, interactive props all the way through
- A coherent plot, easy to understand and easy to get involved with
- Perfect statting all the way through
- Amazing set piece encounters.

It was just brilliant, and had everything you could want in an extended event. I've hit over 30 extended events now, and this has to be in my top 3.

Refs did a great job, especially with the last minute site change, and they absolutely made the best out of what we had available.

Thanks to all the monsters, who were brilliant, energetic, keen, and a pleasure to fight and roleplay with.

Big thanks to all the players, everyone stayed calm throughout, no flip outs at all even when stressed.

Loads of fun. And I even made it to the end. Although I feel so battered today.

Loved the Disco moves to travel from section to section, the sheer volume of interesting props, some we could smash apart, and props within props... (We got a dagger prop on the lead up which turned out all along had 2 rings inside it...)

The Choreographer. Ajay - you must play that character.

Canoeing, Foci up trees, monsters hiding in trees, entering the 'Knights' gym, late night chats about absolute rubbish.

Brilliant. Just brilliant.

Thanks everyone.

The party were absolutely stirling to monster for. Just so chilled even when it got turned up to 11.

An utter marvel to behold in their sheer competence under the weight of numbers of monsters.

The combat was just stunning and so enjoyable.

I didn't suffer one unsafe blow all event so much so that by the third day I never got round to putting my contact lenses in and was happy to just monster in my glasses.

I had no idea Ryan was a long distance runner wink.gif

So, so much fun.

Just like to add my gratitude!
What an amazing event - clearly much effort put in!
Foremost thanks to the crew for bringing the world alive. Refs for bringing it all together, players for bringing there own unique rp to the table.

As is custom - my favourite parts in no specific order were;

The Cacographer - epically played by Ajay.
The pit fighter encounter.
Chess encounter that turned into a section...
Undead night.
Mr Shadow strike encounter - with the unexpected twist from Sam (never saw that coming).
The Gnome/Tree set piece.
The four trials - Ryan making the worst move in jenga ever!
All the other - danger danger prot/ wall of force moments.
Seeing peeps go out in the lake.
The orc fight.
The emotional section.

And much more.

Thanks ever so much,
Rob.

This event was incredible. It was possibly the most perfectly started event I have ever played, the monsters were a pleasure all weekend. The props were brilliant and there was so much interaction. The set piece encounters and the physical challenge encounters really made the whole thing stand out. I can't think of how it could have been improved.

Thanks to all the crew and refs for creating a really unique 3 day.

Indeed this event offered absolutely everything really great weekend!

The level 19 dance move will keep me entertained for years to come as will so much else from the event from canoes, the amulet that somehow ended up about 100 meters into the lake, the chess game against our “rusty adversary” - two hours later can we just destroy the board, press-ups / log carrying / gauntlet, suspended Jenga and so much more!

Crew from permanent members to drive by additions were all an absolute Joy and their dedication with the imagination of Ajay and Fromum made the event

My body is broken I have never run so much in my life but worth it!

A huge thanks is owed to the monsters for bringing the event alive and going with everything that Ajay and I had planned. They were great all weekend and lead this to be one of the easiest events that I have reffed. Pretty much everything went according to how we planned it.

Was really nice to see all the players actively wanting to be involved in the plot and the dungeon and getting in to the spirit of the event. You were all chilled and easy to ref all weekend.

Special thanks go to Callum as well for doing the take away runs and haggling to get us a good deal on them both smile.gif

And it's thanks from me!

Really good event, certainly set the bar very high for events this year.

Needless to say without the literal army of monsters it wouldn't have been so fun, I certainly felt fitter after 3 days of being outnumbered in every fight so thanks for the cardio work out!

Just want to add my thanks to the above - much of which has already been said.

Amazing amount of effort obvious from the lead up and ramped up to an entirely new level on the event itself - plot, props and execution all top drawer.

Massive thanks to the ref team, monster horde and party for a top top three days.

Best caves event I've done for a long long time.

I would also like to add my thanks as well. It was an absolutely fantastic event, one of the best I have ever done.

There were so many good moments, like so many I cant actually list them all...

Seeing the kayak in the bush, and finding all the safety equipment, then being terrorised by monsters because all I had was an oar... then slowly spinning my way there and back
Floating jenga
"Am I an egg based product?"
Late night chess
Numerous props that needed breaking open - the lump of stone that I just knew had something inside
Knights gym, carrying logs, jumping beams, watching Ryan IC get knocked out during the assault course, Carlo just straight up refusing to partake in it
Breaking into the house and getting the [----] spanked out of us by the undead, collecting their pendants, then later finding out we needed to break them open
Finding the rings in the dagger
The trapped box
The various item summoning encounters - the Demons of Flaming Destruction, The Pit Fighter (im not sure I will forget Rhys's face when Craigy whacked out the 6...)
The several focuses that were in high places or hanging in trees that we needed to get

This list doesnt even cover half of the stuff that we needed to do.

The sheer volume of unique and new encounters that managed to test and entertain a competent party that have been playing for years was outstanding. So many new things and different encounters, literally amazing.

The monster team, [----] me you guys worked your arses off constantly. Thank you to all of you who really, really tried your hardest to ensure that we had a great event, and importantly you really tried to kill us! It was nice to be on the other end of an ass whooping all weekend.

The statting was spot on, even being immune to 50% ish of the monster didn't mean that you could let your guard down, if you did then death was likely! The variety in stats must have been challenging for the monsters to remember but was great to smear us all over the site, repeatedly. The balance of making it hard enough to challenge our party, but not too hard that we didnt engage was 100% correct. Nothing was too hard that we couldnt engage. "Some" encounters we had to hid in prots or behind some force walls or walking on air, but we were still involved in those encounters, or some of us were so far away they were playing golf...

Ajay, Fromum and our horde of monsters, Callum, Ed, Edd, Stacey, Lizzie, Brodders, Rhys, Mark, BBB (hopefully I havent missed anyone, there were just soooooooo many of you!) Thank you so much for the awesome event, it is one of the best I have played!

The above doesnt really even cover half of the awesomeness of this event - Refs for the rest of the year have a lot to live up to!

Lastly, the moves. This was hilarious the whole way through and was a fun and interactive way to get things going without having to spend power.

Thanks for an amazing weekend that I will never forget!

Cheers,

JC
