Corvid-19 Update, 23.03.2020 - Closure - updated 17.04.2020 Options

Following the ongoing advice on the Corvid-19 situation, we fall into a business category of “other venue that must close as we involve prolonged close social contact, which increases the chances of infection spreading”. Obviously this is distressing news for the club. I feel at this stage it would be unprofessional for us to do anything else. As a result Labyrithe, and Magic @ Labyrinthe, will be closed until further notice.

My hope is that if everyone follows the government’s advice this outbreak will be under control quickly and we can re-open without too much of an interruption in service. As a result of ever changing advice we will continue to monitor government advice, and review this closure weekly.

I will be completely honest in this time of uncertainty and closure the financial implications to the club are enormous, my hope is of course that Labyrinthe will not be a victim of Corvid-19, to that end in a little while I will post about how club members can financially support the club if they would like to.

Additionally I’ll be announcing a few things over the coming days to try and help people still feel engaged with the club. To that end, if anyone has any exciting ideas of things we could try and do, to make everyone feel part of a closed club, or get you through the boredom of not leaving the house, get in touch.

following tonight's televised announcement the earliest we would look to re-open is Saturday 18th April,

Following the government's review last night, Labyrinthe will remain closed until at least the 7th May, when the Government is next set to review. Should things change I will of course update.
