Hi,
Sorry for the intrusion as I am not a member of your church though I have disturbing information directly linked to your church. Let me explain, last starsday we were hired by Dax Hellswater a member of the inquisition, who directed us to a village called "Hothor's stand" to re-new their annual bargains with a fey court. In a nut-shell the village usually sends some of there own folk to Hothor's shrine (an old hero) to get some water blessed to give to the fey (they couldn't this year). When we got there the shrine had been infiltrated and Hothor's spirit stolen, we tracked down the perpetrator that led us to a man claiming to be a member of your church who had done pacts with demons etc, to be honest I'm not totally sure if this was clarified at the time, anyway either you have one of your members running around doing unlawful things or there is someone claiming to be a member of your church doing unlawful things... Well it all escalated and he run off and escaped through a portal, we managed to save the spirit and put things right, I can't remember the mans name though we had a dead hero's mercenary with us Egor? or something... I'm hoping he will confirm and speak up... Anyway this is all being sent to the inquisition as we were promised a further thousand grulls if we did... and I'm happy to scribe a dozen lines for thousand grulls... Respectfully, Freddy. |

Freddy, Thank you kindly for the above and please do not apologise, as this is no intrusion. Would you be able to tell me more of Hothor? Do you have any more details of this man who escaped? Egor - if you are in these halls could you please provide me with more information. To those who may be free, I would suggest meeting near the village of Hothors stand. I'll work on arranging a hall or tavern or something, and I will provide details on the morning. We can then meet, scry and work out a course of action. Anyone around to help? Let me know if you are able to attend, and if there is anything you need from me. Andric High Priest |

Igor reporting sir,
The general gist of the hire is correct the only bits of information that I can add was that when we tracked down the priest in question he was impervious to attacks. He had a portal to the nacht in his lair but when we stuck a limb through there was no clear path so rather than get lost we didn't follow him. There was certainly a glint in his eye that I have learnt to associate with masters who are on the verge of a disastrous grand plan, it was obvious all he could do to stop the urge of monologuing his entire plan to us. He fully admitted that he had made pacts with demons and that he wanted to use the power of dead heroes for personal gain rather than the greater good. Also when we were investigating the shrine we found that he had stolen an object from the tomb as well as the spirit of the hero who resided there ( I did organise for that spirit to be moved to an alternate shrine when rescued, he might have further info?). We didn't have the power to find out what the object was. Thats about all. Igor Church of dead sidekicks |

Milly I was about to suggest the same, I have some more information which I will send shortly. Oh, and I'd rather destroy said demons than bribe them if it's likely they will cause any trouble to the locals. Andric |

I think we'll be fine on the supplies front, but bring what you think may be of use to you and the group. I'm happy to bind your scrolls into artefacts should you wish. Look forward to meeting you too, Andric |

So,
My runes twitched. I wasn't really going to scry, but it seemed important. They showed me a plump, jovial man by the sea. He casts out his fishing net, and his bounty is one of the largest I have ever seen. There is a village behind him, and as he catches the fish and brings in his bounty, the people of the village start to starve, they grow thinner and thinner until they eventually die as his catch gets as big as it can get. I have no idea what this means, but of course, if the Heroes have guided it - it is important. Milly is correct, and the best course of action is to meet by Hathor's shrine, and speak with him. There is a portal which has been left over which we should investigate. I cannot scry about the villain - he is shielded, and I don't think there is a stolen artefact. I think there was some confusion there. For those who did not know his tale, Hothor was known as the Pride of Seval. His soul was primally linked to the spirits of lions. He fought for Seval in the Chaos wars, and made his last stand in a great battle against unsurmountable odds. When the battle was won and his final act completed, he was laid to rest where the battle took place. The village grew around that place years later. I've sent over the Eagle Claw to investigate, but I think they are pretending to be ninjas as they are all wearing black, have painted their faces, have been unlocking all the doors they can and have set off rather mysteriously. Andric,
I finish work early Starsday morning and will head to the shrine and meet you there to assist in anyway I can. I have had a fair bit of experience in dealing with demons and have little interest in paying them off, I would rather remove them from Primus also. If we meet them and after information I should be able to pick it from their minds without them knowing. Will see you all in the morning.
