So I was looking at this ability and think this is right:
1. As per scholar it is a physical ability "This is knowledge remembered as a result of past studies, and sensible assumptions made, in the manner of a Lucky Idea". Which means a Chi Perfected Monk could use it? 2. It gives 7 useful words, it does not allow 1 question per 30 seconds as per Arcarnum Scholarly Interest 3. It may only be used on relics (as either 7 words or enhanced evaluate), active rituals, and altars (or similar) - so not wardings. Is this right? Do refs tend to offer some leniency and allow it on wardings or not? Thanks David |

my experiences are sometimes different depending on ref, but normally it works as an enhanced evaluate / getting a description of the item. with the added bonus that with increased tiers the more stuff it works on, with my only issue being how to "tell" the party
Part 3 of your question, at basic tier works on items/treasure/junk. intermediate tier works as basic plus active rituals, alters and similar and advanced tier works on arcane and stuff (wards and such) -------------------- J - The thing known as Dog
- Tyrone (twiglet Wizard, because they are yummy) |
