Citizens of the Empire and the Brokenlands,
Over the last few days the Senate have been dealing with complaints regarding two attacks on Imperial Citizens within the Broken lands. The first was on an Imperial Fortification under the Command of the Marcher Lord by Shank, given that Shank has an ongoing issue with Imperial Law and was Ostracised from the Empire long before the conflict at Rivers Find I have no choice but to outlaw him for his cowardly attack on Imperial Troops. Our Legionaries must know that the Senate will uphold the legal protections over it's citizens and for it's soldiers equally. The Goblins captured in the Conflict currently in the Gaol of the Keep are sentenced to death and I pass the execution to the Marcher Lord. The second more complex issue is of the Front Line killing Caravan Guards moving Gold from the Brokenlands on behalf of the Fractured Vein. Having reviewed the written orders from Tarek as a Peace keeping force for the area it is my opinion that Individuals have overstepped the boundaries of their instructions and I don't hold Tarek specifically culpable in this instance. He has however assured me that those responsible will be cast from the Front Line and they will face justice independently in Halgar. Tarek has also agreed to the Front Line as an organisation (not individuals) being bound over to keep the Empress' peace for a period of one year and they will take up a mission as a group to secure Imperial Mines outside of the Broken lands in reparation to the Fractured Vein's loss. My closing statement on this matter is to say that the Empire is glad that it's many citizens are forming in to "factions" to stave off many threats be you a guild, held or like minded allies outside of the usual remit of mercenary work. Sadly in this instance we have two such factions acting directly against the interests of the Empire and this simply won't be tolerated. In the past my Office has been keen to distance the Individual from the organisation and outlawing of guilds or such groups was very rare but in these changing times we wish to make it clear in instances where groups act against the best interests of the Empire we will use the full force of the Law against you. You have been warned. Louis Athanyn Covenant |

Interesting. So being at war makes me an outlaw! If I was human I would probably get a medal for sticking it to the melni scum who are trying to take our land
As many of you no I live to kill things. resently I have turned that towards helping the world and have been hunting creatures who threaten us all, working wiv many famous types who can probably back this statement up. Making me an outlaw wont change this! I will still show up and help the world. All you av done is probably inspired some foolish mercenarys to endanger there own lives when they try to capture me. Love and kisses Shank the outlaw |

Deer Mr Luise Athanyn Sir, Umm, err, I think there may have been a mistake. Mr Shank is far too good at killing people to get caught out like that. I think it must have been a naughty Shank copycat, twying to kill people like Shank, but not being good enough. Some little rats told me that Shank has been a vewy good goblin, helping the powerful and famous of the Empire fighting against those who threaten the lives of us working folk. Unfortunately, Shank has an terrible affliction wheweby he seems compelled to take responsibility for all the dastardly things he gets accused ov. Probably some evil witches curse, or suchlike. As such, I was wondein' if you would be so good as to let off poor Shank? From Trundelberry, A Stab in the Back, 1 Stab Street, Cheapside, Deci, Northen Empire, Primus Sire and Dagger Merchant |

Trundleberry is right, Shank is such a murder goblin that he'll take the blame for any killing at all. Next you'll be pinning that time the Emperor got stabbed on him as well. He'd say it was him even though it was before he was born.
It's probably Radah. Wasn't he out murdering again recently? Sword of Michael turning his hand to killing Ancient Folk? Oh and the goblins you've killed are probably mine, too scared to not follow someone called Gank. Don't I get some kind of wereguild for their deaths? There will be fewer goblins to get my shoes or make my breakfast. Shanks been a fecking hero recently. Theign Baiter The Spoglin Theign -------------------- |
