As the sun rose on the first day of the new Dawn in Mordred’s Rest very few people were up and around to notice a flash of energy ripple through the portal to Legend, brown lines of power spreading out from the centre, almost like roots. Reports came in shortly after of a round brown figure seen stepping through before it returned to its normal state.

Across in the Lord Knights Office all was quiet, Lord Stone not having made it back yet, last seen heading off for “just one more” with Goldy in the early hours. A creaking could be heard coming from his office, followed by the sound of a nail hitting the floor and then the breaking of glass. If anyone had been awake to notice they would have seen a sheet of paper fluttering down from under the window, growing as it approached the ground then sprouting legs and making its way towards the portal to Legend...
