Anyone fancy trying to book a Claws dungeon to go after the witch that killed Uhtred?
It'd need to be unbalanced, or max something high, but I'm up for it if others are...? Martin |

There is discussion in the private Winterhaven campaign forums about sorting it.
It will either take one party two days, or two parties one day. I suggest talking to Richard about it, he seems to be organising it ICly on 'our' end (I would of course love to play, I'm just not going to participate in organising it >.>) -------------------- - Rebecca

Well if there's interest, then I'll speak to Lee/Richard and see if they're up for it.

I would love to do one but being just under 1K I will probally be to low with one party. But if we do 2 party with one being an info gathering and then the big guns going in, I would definatly be up for that.

Thanks go to Julian and Lucy for sharing information OOC that contradicts the IC info we've been given and will detract from my future enjoyment of this story arc.
That's the reason we shouldn't talk about stuff like this OOC. My keenness is sapped, if someone else arranges it, I'll book on if I'm free. Sorry if this all sounds a bit passive agressive, but it's really irritated me |

I would (if I could) thumbs up your comment there Chris.
I personally don't think the "it's ok because everyone else was doing it" argument goes very far. OOC info about the situation was given, someone got annoyed about being given that information and vocalised the fact. Fair enough really. Matt |

I suppose I expected that an experienced player might recognise that not knowing things OOC can improve a player's enjoyment of LRP. I'm also disappointed that after my complaint you've decided to share even more information OOC about what happened. After all, you've went out of your way to post on a guild board that you've not posted to in at least a year, and your sole contribution was to share that OOC info.
It's not about things being IC secret or controversial, it's about the simple principle that not knowing OOC makes finding out IC more fun. I don't think that's a particularly radical opinion to hold. It's understandable that a mistake can be made, we've all done it over the years, but to respond with "well tough" rather than "sorry mate, I've editted the post so it doesn't spoil things for others" doesn't exactly do much to build bridges (especially as you tend to be far more reasonable in person)! Well tough. It was being quite openly discussed by tons of people outside the cafe and shared with people not on the dungeon such as myself. It's the sort of stuff that is discussed OOC all the time, especially given it was a bit ironic that the warding specialist died to a warding. There was no indication from anyone that this supposed to be any kind of IC secret information or that it was anything controversial. Julian |

I have edited the posts as requested.
I am not apologising because I absolutely do not accept that I have done anything wrong. I do not appreciate the (as you describe them) passive aggressive complaints about commenting on something that was already widely known, hence the curtness of my original reply. Thanks for making the edits Julian, that's really appreciated. I'll just leave it at that, as I don't think we've anything to gain from continuing this discussion - we clearly have a fundamental disagreement on this subject.
