well matthew i was just thinking if we had a plan for like a worst case scenario where nearly every-one's about to die then we might be able to survive but if thats not a good idea (even though it seems like a good one) i won't bother

oh, that one's simple.
-save whoever you can (useful people take priority if they can be healed and haven't done anything silly) and if you can't take them out - put them inside a ptotection from spirits (if possible) or hide them in dark corners in the hope you can come back later and save them. too many times have I seen low level scouts being saved where there was a warrior/healing priest just round the corner that was subsequently hacked to permanent death. - though that was back in the day when monsters were allowed to kill anyone they see lying on the ground |

However you can make things a lot easier if you have basic tactics: -Let scouts scout -Warriors to front, Casters to back -If there's elementals, chances are your best bet is to form a circle -Don't run off in 10 different directions -Don't always back off in a fight - Hold your ground -Block Things Listen to those who learned from experience. |

Listen to learn is all I say. you have 2 ears 1 mouth so listen more than you speak if you want to learn something. What Joss has said is basically all you can do unless it's a defender, but even then it still works (defenders are a whole new kettle of fish best left until you are actually doing one) Otherwise the main theme is to have fun and enjoy it so if you are playing a class that you want to roleplay as a tactician then do your own battle tactics if you like, then submit them to the party because most people will either a) ignore it or think actually that's a good idea and it means I don't die lets do that. Anyway Have fun!!! Matt Bucknell |
