Hello!

My name is Riley Holmes, and I have come across a collection of instructions to gather instruments of faith in order to be able to dedicate a shrine in the village of Errian's Rest to our Lady.

I have secured some funds and a licence, and am looking to hire a group of positive and friendly mercenaries to travel far afield to collect and empower them this Sunsday.

I will be at the Tobac Haze tavern at the 11th hour.

Empowering Shrines is dangerous.

Last time some massive alter spirit came out and controlled me to attack ... thankfully most of the group had no resistance to the death prayer otherwise I might gave actually hurt a few!

I'll come this time to make sure its done right. And by right I mean a bar spirit, not a prot. This time.

Any chance you can get there earlier Riley? I like to get going and others inevitably blow half their power communing before getting out of bed in the mornings...

I digress... Sunsday, 11th hour, I'm in.

it was an amazing day, we where successfully in our mission

but a lot of vita was lost, there was conflict between faiths but we got there in the end

My dearest Martha,

This is sad news indeed - I also heard that he was heading on a pilgrimage of some sort whilst I was working at the local tavern.

He mentioned his affection of his family but he had to embark upon urgent 'church business' and made haste - it must have been extremely urgent and pressing if he didn't leave a note for you ! Normally I wouldn't comment on the business of the patrons but I seek only to put your mind at rest.

If you hear of anything, please let me know and I will assist you as much as I can.

As an aside, he did mention his strong and agile children in passing and how proud of them he is - perhaps, while he is gone, you might consider an offer of employment for them from me ? He failed to mention their ages but I suspect they would be old enough.

I have a ship nearby and trade frequently in the area and am always on the lookout for some decent crew... I find children pick up the ropes quickly and are agile climbers... the offers there should you wish for them to travel and see the world for a while... they would be very very well looked after, you may even wish to join them if you fancied a trip away for a few days at first ? I have some barrels of salt and other goods to deliver in Port Mier in a few days time... the offer is there should you wish to come along.. just let me know.
