So I have spoken to Julian and provisionally booked him to ref a Unity and Friends guild special "24 hour" for Saturday 11th to Sunday 12th September, details below:

Level: Unbalanced Max 10k
Site: Pinewood Scout Camp, Croyden
Cost: £90. Minimum cash payment of £40, and a minimum of 10 players to run!
Points: 240
Available ISP: 100
Monster pay: 30 credits, 90 monster points
Catering: Self catered

I will confirm the booking process shortly, but wanted to confirm there was enough interest out there for it?

Also would need monsters

I like this idea! Not sure if I'll make it past lunchtime on day 1 without stealing all Gimly's res chance, but I like the idea of a 24 hour

Really pleased to see the response here - shaping up to be an awesome monster crew.

I am more than happy to ref & free on that date - the only risk is that these days I can & do get summoned over to California with very little notice* - I will make sure the dungeon is written in such a way that my a-ref can take over running if I have to tag out at the last minute

Good to see lots of interest on both playing and monstering front.

The general plan is to start normal overland type time Saturday (so site by about 9.30, time in 10-11) and Finish up about 5pm Sunday with bit of time for packing and clearing the site. With the aim to be to get some sleep Saturday night on role mats/air beds in the main room.

There will be booking forms that will need to be completed, I will let you know when they been added to the download section

Either some sort of mini-Mallerstang (as I really enjoyed the wrath of swine event as him), which can only be up to 4k or so as it stands (though I may try and see if Lee will up my max avatar points to 1/2 my points like most people's, rather than 1/4), who will likely be a goodly Border priest/ley believer of some sort (since I can't make one which isn't border or levity, or I'd do a unity one).

Other suitable alternatives (all of which it turns out are knights, which will make Jasper happy) might be:

Mirras at 5k
Logros at 3k, though I think there will be plenty of healing and I'll be bored as him.
Dusk at 3k - who's both a LN Peon Milora Priest and a goodly hero green/brown wizard from Catten Vale era.
Valahiru at 1k, just to be able to meet Ignatius on an event.

My other viable options (Nex, Aurora, Mallerstang) are all over 10k.

Given the responses here & that Tavis has spent so many points on buffing others - is it ok to say that we'll set it as max 6K* for the rest of the party ?

*or whatever Ignatius actually is*

Mainly I'm looking to set guidelines so that the event doesn't get swamped with 8K guests

Julian has asked for a party list so he can make a start on the party list. We also have a few keen monsters booked but obviously some more would be good as well.

Just to confirm, the dungeon level now we looking at is roughly an unbalanced max 6k ish, plus Tavis. If you are over 6k you probably need to have a chat with Julian.

Going from whats here i think we have:

Rich - Gimly - 5K Warrior/BBQ'er
Christine - Tavis - 9K Vivomancer
Carlo - Clovis - 3k Paladin
Huw - TBC?
Pete - Beeman - 2.K Priest
Matt S - Iggy - 6K Priest/Monk
Jasper - Scruple - 1.5k Vivomancer
Zoe - TBC

Anyone else? Someone should mention it to Nic Maggs

We ideally need a few more players to make it run, guest slots available to suitable characters.

Very interested in playing this.

I have various options:
My unity priest (Tollum rebirth) is less than 1k.
2.5k of green wizard/archer type pixie, Bubbles.
2.5k of Kotl dead heroes paladin - Tia.
or Ly-chee who I think is about 6k but I can't find the card at the mo.
I think Grizelda will be too many points at about 8k.

It is only bookable by form?

Yeah, a booking form will need to be completed before the event, is in the downloads section. You can book via email then submit the form at the caves if easier, or email form in. Will power is doing the Laby admin for these events so can email booking forms to him direct to save Duncan work!

I will print a few booking forms out to leave at the caves

I'm either going to go home at some point in the evening or I'll stay but just disappear to bed very early. The latter may be more likely just because of transport.

Now the Knight's 24 hour is over and done with I am very keen to ensure that this event runs, the current plan is for it to be a unbalanced 6k ish with Christine as an advisor, however with Matt having to book off we could potentially drop the level a bit lower if it would encourage more people. I

I believe those currently booked and intend to play are as follows:

The odd thing about Everdawn (the archangel) was that it wasn't written up by the players founding the guild at all, just added into the guild write up by the ref. It has never appeared on adventure and to my knowledge had otherwise never played any role in subsequent guild specials. Just one of those strange things.
