The Tower to the Gold Drake glistens (as one would expect) in the morning light, a shimmer in the air. For years those who were minded to looked upon it with a sense of comfort and warmth.
But the light shone slightly darker in the past few weeks. The glisten wasn't quite so... glisteny. The Shimmer less.... shim. And then this morning, when students and wise ones came to study, they found the doors barred... -------------------- Will Power - will@labyrinthe.co.uk

As the days pass Imperial presences build up around the tower. A very clear "No entry" vibe is established, if not explicitly stated. Certainly any interested onlookers are hastily turned away by well armed guards.
The more perceptive might notice surreptitious onlookers who remain more consistently, keeping an on things whilst... casually leaning or nonchalantly ambling. No one is seen entering, or attempting to enter the tower. Milly in particular is seen getting stuck in, making sure any onlookers do not get too close... People staring too long at the tower start to feel a light pain in their head. Their tempers wear thin, though the phenomenon passes as they turn away, and comfort returns to their hearts. -------------------- Will Power - will@labyrinthe.co.uk

On Starsday the Gold Tower of High Magery began to glow with a brilliant and warm light, that filled the hearts of those who looked upon it with hope.
Suddenly it was clear, the darkness that had been sealed within was banished, crushed from existence. Somehow the tower itself looked... bigger? Smarter? It was hard to put a finger on it, but in some subtle way it had been elevated. The doors swung open, the interior clearly pristine and welcoming. If you could imagine a building smiling, that would be a way to describe the feeling that the tower emanated now. -------------------- Will Power - will@labyrinthe.co.uk
